GoncaloGuitar and Music Theory Lessons by a Qualified and Experienced Teacher
I specialize in teaching about Music and how to play the Guitar.
In class, I always make the effort of understanding what are the goals and interests of all students, as well as their own skills. This way we can address the issues at hand more effectively and make sure the student never loses his/her interest and focus in music and his/her instrument. I believe that an honest and friendly relationship between teacher and student is essential for this exchange of ideas to happen more clearly and fluently, and so I do my best to make everyone feel comfortable enough to share their own thoughts freely.
I offer good and personalized classes. This means that there will special care with your interest in music and guitar, all basic skills will be worked upon and strengthened, all specific requests and ideas will be addressed, both improvisation and interpretation can be developed and exploring potential, achieving goals and having fun are main priorities.

Enthusiastic guitar tutor and performer.
I started playing classical guitar at the age of 6, and my formal musical education begun at the age of 9 when I started attending a music school in Croatia. After 6 years of primary school I continued studying classical guitar at secondary music school in Varazdin, Croatia. During that period I received training in classical harmony, Counterpoint (polyphony), Solfeggio, Music history and gained plenty experience at orchestral playing and choral singing. I decided to continue my musical education in Manchester where I was studying undergraduate degree at the Royal Northern College of Music and currently I am studying at the Royal Conservatoire in the Hague. As a performing guitarist, I have successfully participated and won prizes in a number of international competitions in Italy, Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Hercegovina. Although my studies are primarily related to classical music, I am comfortable playing and performing music in a range of other styles and genres. ViniciusBeginner, Intermediate and Advanced Guitar Lessons
Hello, my name is Vinicius, I am a Brazilian Biologist and I am a PhD candidate in Neuroscience at VU Amsterdam.
I have been playing guitar since I was 11 and I have been teaching the instrument for over a decade now.
I believe that motivating the student and helping him to integrate the instrument into his daily routine is the most important role that a teacher can do.
My methodology is the flipped-classroom and I use the Google Classroom platform: every week, I will write a study guide with details of what we discussed during class + references (videos/blogs/books). This can be used by the student to study carefully at their own pace. During our next class, we will discuss the points you had the most difficulty and advance your knowledge further.
I can also record videos and write essays from scratch specifically for you, whenever the material is not available online.
I learned to play the guitar on my own - later in life I had classical training at university (singing, piano and classical guitar). I play Fingerstyle guitar, popularized by artists like Andy McKee, Tommy Emmanuel and Antoine Dufour, which consists of playing melody, harmony and percussion at the same time.
I have published an EP named "14th of August" with original fingerstyle compositions in 2020.

At your own pace I will get to know you the guitar and its possibilities so that you can quickly play your favorite songs.

MattApprendre à jouer à la guitare acoustique/électrique
Guitar lessons are always useful for all levels of guitar playing. the course content will depend on the level of the student and is entirely open to any preferences in songs or techniques the student wishes to learn. My course is designed in such a way that it focuses on the student's creativity with the guitar and works towards fine tuning what will eventually become the student's original song or composition. I encourage my students to tap into their creativity, since in my experience, I have found that this is where the pleasure and beauty of music tends to surface, when there are the least amount of boundaries possible. All styles of music are welcome!
