I'm a person passionate about flute and teaching. I have 13 years of pedagogical and experience and over 20 years of mastering my performing skills. As a performer I'm specialising in Russian opera and symphony music. Teaching is a very inspiring thing for me. It is an opportunity to share my unique experience and discover a new ways to interact with diverse personalities of students.
I prefer to work with a students of all levels age over 11.
Individual way to work with every student, very attentive to client's request. Ready to work on classic flute repertoire on every level, but also jazz, pop and rock music.
Unique methodic to work with adult beginners.

As an experienced music teacher, I offer recorder and music theory lessons for children and adults of all ages and skill levels!

Originally from Brazil, I have been teaching music for several years. A graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I have extensive experience as a music teacher, having given private lessons and taught in music academies in Belgium and elsewhere. I develop a unique method for each student so that they can learn in a solid and enjoyable way.

The recorder is an easy instrument to learn, making it a great opportunity for children to begin their musical journey. It provides an initial introduction to musical notation and helps develop their ear. I offer students a fun and dynamic learning experience, where music is made from the very first lesson.

For adults... If you're a beginner, don't worry!
I will teach you how to produce the first sounds on your new instrument, how to blow correctly, how to adopt a good posture, etc. I will help you build, step by step, a solid basic technique that will allow you to play any piece on the flute.

If you are an advanced student or already possess a solid foundation in your instrument, I propose working on refining your technique, taking into account each repertoire. We will explore creativity and sound to produce an increasingly beautiful and eloquent musical expression.

Lessons can take place at the student's home or the teacher's home in Forest. Travel expenses are negotiable depending on the distance.

Ayant acquis une expérience pédagogique variée je fonde ma méthode d'enseignement sur :

- Un large panel d'exercices technique visant à améliorer votre dextérité et votre aisance sur l'instrument ;

- Des morceaux choisis par l'élève ou suggérés par moi même ;

- L'apprentissage progressif de l'improvisation sur des langages divers (rock, blues, jazz, pop...);

- Le solfège : lecture de partitions ou tablatures (suivant les attentes de l'élève), harmonie, ear training... ;

- Conseils sur les différents effets de guitare possibles (uniquement pour les guitaristes électriques).

Bien entendu, ce n'est qu'une trame qui ne demande qu'a être personnalisée suivant les envies de l'élève.

Cela fait plus de 6 ans que je donne des cours de guitare classique/électrique et que j'assiste a de nombreuses masterclasses ce qui à forgé ma conception de la pédagogie.

J'ai ainsi pu accompagner de nombreux élèves, notamment en contexte de préparation d'examen de conservatoire.

10 ans d'expérience scénique avec mon projet de compositions "Ninety's Story" m'ont permis de jouer dans des salles de toute la France et de partager la scène avec des groupes comme Puggy, Archive, Morcheeba, Christophe, Cats on trees, Yodelice, Lindsay Stirling...

Avec ce projet, j'ai également eu la possibilité de travailler dans de nombreux studios d'enregistrement.

Hello! I'm David, a spanish flutist. I really enjoy teaching and performing, and I have previous experience as a flute teacher back in Spain, so I would like to have some new students here in Ghent as well. I can also help you with other music stuff like theory, solfege and harmony if you want that. My music lessons are suitable for all level students, from begginers to advanced players, and we can work either in classical repertoire or in any other genre that you'd like (pop, irish, rock).

Flute and Piccolo Lessons – All Levels 🎶

Do you want to learn to play the flute and piccolo in a fun and enjoyable way? My name is Beatriz, a professional flutist and piccolo player with international training and teaching experience in Spain. I hold a Master’s Degree in Flute and Piccolo Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, a Postgraduate in Orchestral Performance, and a Master’s Degree in Music Education in Spain. Combining my academic background with solid performing experience in several orchestras and international competitions, I offer flute and piccolo lessons for all levels, always tailored to the goals and needs of each student.
