About Me

My name is Sandra. I teach singing and music lessons with great pleasure and dedication. When you sing or make music, you reveal something very vulnerable about yourself. That is why I find it important to give you, as a student, confidence and create a safe environment in which you can learn in your own way and work on what you want to achieve with your voice or instrument.

My musical journey

I have been making music since I was young. I started on the keyboard and sang along, but I soon discovered other beautiful instruments, such as the ukulele and the harp. In my teenage years, I entered the paid performance circuit, and although I really enjoyed making people happy, moving them, and bringing them to a state of stillness with my music, it soon became clear that the stage was not my place.

Training and professionalization

For that reason, after high school, I started a Bachelor's degree in Musicology and simultaneously took various courses and workshops on teaching singing and music to others and the use of instruments in clinical and therapeutic settings. In 2025, I completed the 'Vocal Education' program to become a singing teacher, and I am currently pursuing the IHTP (International Harp Therapy Programme) to become a certified harp therapist, as well as the Ukulele Teacher Training at the JHUI to become a ukulele teacher. In addition, I continue my professional development in the field of teaching singing and music, ensuring that my knowledge is always up to date and that you, as a student, can trust that you are receiving lessons that align with the latest insights and developments in the field.

Who I am?
Hi! My name is Jobbe. Once upon a time, I was an aspiring academic, but longing for a more creative way to share my voice I started singing and quite I recently graduated form the Master of Music program direction Music Theatre. I know how arduous the artistic journey can be yet, we take it none the less, because we are all striving for this little moment of magic that arises when everything falls into place. For me, I saw this happening many times during a performance but also in coaching others and it gives me chills every time. And I would be honoured to help you pass on this little spark of magic to others!

As I am only just starting with these individual lessons for a limited time they are available.

From the technique and theory of singing to performative qualities and coaching, I can help! Together we can work to get your singing to the next level!

Currently, she lives in Utrecht, the Netherlands where she shares the joy of singing as well as co-writing songs with different artists from NL, Germany, Greece and Canada. She studied at ArtEZ hogeschool voor de Kunsten (2018-2021) and has had experience with teaching vocalists who want to pursue music on a professional level. Her genres of preference are in the jazz, soul and pop field. Emma is a strong believer in empowering her students and guiding people in finding their own unique strengths.
