I have experience teaching elementary-level students in a variety of settings. I am currently teaching third-grade children at an inner-city charter school. As a former education coordinator at a local museum, I also have experience teaching fourth-grade students in a small suburban school system. Your school emphasizes its unique position as a school that caters to both inner-city and suburban students, so I think my varied experiences would make me an asset to your program. Your school also strives to engage students in the larger community. I have lots of experience incorporating community service projects into my classrooms. For example, as a student teacher, I led a unit for third-graders on plant life, and we volunteered at a local community garden. I would love to find ways to integrate service learning into my lesson plans. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to your school district and larger community. I would welcome an interview and hope to hear from you at your earliest convenience. Sincerely,

I really enjoy transferring knowledge and I want to use this to help others. Together with the student we look for the best option / method to learn something in a fun and good way. Everyone learns differently. I give tutoring in biology, Dutch and homework and exam help and draw / illustrate lessons (in other lessons). Dutch and biology were my favorite subjects in the past. Now I follow biology in higher professional education. Here I almost only get courses related to biology! Because of this I think I can offer a lot of help for different levels. The times can be discussed since my own schedule is not fixed either. So some days I have more time.

"Dad, Mom, I got it all, and yet I don't have enough! How is that possible?" or this: "I don't get it at all and the teacher doesn't explain anything!". Does this sound familiar? What about the difficult subjects like mathematics, physics and chemistry ?! Don't worry: everyone can learn these courses. So you too! Are you looking for seriously good study coaching and are you willing to take action? I have extensive experience and can quickly identify your challenges. As a freelancer, I've been tutoring through Boeja, "Boeja Tutoring Oog in Al" since 2013. I know the different (book) methods that the Utrecht schools use. And I have already made so many mistakes myself that I immediately recognize them in you .... ;-). Did you know that a large part of your math errors are due to sloppy use of minus sign and (parentheses) use? At your pace I will coach you in understanding the material and independently solving the issues. We will also work extensively on your skills and accuracy. During a tutoring / inventory we identify your tutoring needs and which frequency fits best. With more than 3 hours per month, the hourly rate drops. Level: VMBO, HAVO, VWO, HBO. GMAT too. As a flight instructor I also teach theoretical flying lessons.
