I believe that learning a language should be affordable and suited for everyone’s individual needs, in an environment where the students participates in their own learning. I believe in the teaching method of the great Paulo Freire, in which he proposed that the old “banking teaching”, where a student only memorize, is obsolete. I believe in the “critical learning”, where the students really try to understand what are they learning.

English is a compulsory subject in all schools and at all levels, and Spanish is also offered as a core or elective subject in many high schools. I lived in a Spanish-speaking environment for several years (Mexico, Spain, Paraguay) and also began my first degree in Spanish language and literature at the University of Zurich. I took an IELTS diploma in English two years ago so that I could study in English. I love languages and I really enjoy teaching them to other people. As I majored in Spanish at high school, I know what knowledge is required at this level for the exams and especially the Matura.
