Latin is fascinating and, despite its reputation of being a dead language, it can still be useful today. However, being unique, it is not always easy to understand its grammar and syntax and translating from Latin can be hard. Having studied it since when I was thirteen and with two cum-laude degrees in Classics, I know Latin deeply. Moreover, I have experience in giving classes to high school students, therefore I am aware of its difficulties and I know how to tackle possible hurdles in the most appropriate way for each student. I am an Italian native speaker with a bachelor in Italian Literature and Linguistics. In Italy, I usually teach English to high school students​, or adults who want to improve their skills with this language. Usually, I tend to use a non-academic approach, by focusing on the student's interests and make him/her applying the language to their everyday life, instead of simply learning the grammar rules by heart.
