Trusted teacher: If you need to learn the basis of Italian language or want to practice it at an higher level, I'm here to help. I'm 100% Italian, currently living in Shanghai. Thanks to my interests in the cultural field (I've also been working in a library for one year and in a publishing house for another, when I was in Italy) and to my university career (I got a Bachelor's and a Master's degree) I can teach you what you need, whether for work/study or personal interest: grammar and vocabulary at any level, plus oral communication and writing. With me, you'll be able to learn Italian language and culture as well. I can also help you study Italian literature, if needed. I can revise your excersises, give you some tasks for the next lessons to keep you excercised and provide periodical reports of your progress and tips and advises. My lessons are suitable for any age and level and I have esperience in working both with individuals and small groups, so if you have some friends who want to learn with you, don't worry, you're all welcome. PS Unfortunately, I can't speak Chinese, so I need you to know some English for better comunication, thank you!

My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. I like to teach Italian because it is a language that I love, and I would like to have more people falling in love with it. I can assign homework depending on which topics we are going to learn. My classes are very interactive, therefore expect to have more listening and speaking, rather than writing and/or reading. I am a third generation Chinese-Italian. I speak Italian, Chinese and English fluently. So whether you lack Chinese or English it will not be a problem.

I have nine years of teaching experience with 14-18 years old pupils learning the Italian curriculum and I am in my second year teaching in international schools in China. My postgraduate education has been completed in UK where I lived from 1997 to 2002 as full time postgraduate student. I had duties as demonstrating, teaching assistance and undergraduate students supervision- as part of my PhD education and my Post Doc experiences. I have been an academic researcher for more than ten years before being full time in teaching. Training and mentoring undergraduate students has been part of my duties in my research assignments.
