The people who come to me have a basic knowledge of the language (equivalent to level A2 or B1). Nana is an excellent and fun teacher. I can really recommend her to anybody who wants to improve their French. I wanted to gain confidence in speaking French, so we chose the format of going for walks in different parts of Brussels. This way we had conversations whilst also exploring the city beyond the well-trodden paths. Nana is a perfect match if you want to leave the expat bubble and meet some real Belgians. But she is also fluent in English and has teaching experience abroad. If I couldn’t think of a word in French I would just use the English one and she would translate. As the weather gets colder, we will have to adapt our method, but I’m sure that will work out. I am looking forward to my next lesson with Nana.

Very thorough in testing the initial language skills during the first lesson and therefore establishing the starting point for the further lessons. Effective in pushing the student to do a little more and still patient to answer students questions. In short, highly appreciated.
