I am currently in my 3rd year of a bachelor's degree in mathematics at EPFL and I will be studying at University of Oslo from 1.08.2022 until june 2023 . I give courses for all levels from elementary school to graduate school. I give courses in math and physics for all levels up to the first year of graduate studies. I can give the course at home or by video conference. My teaching method is to make the student understand the course and then to help him/her solve the exercises while asking questions to make sure he/she has understood.

He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Communication Systems at EPFL in Lausanne. Tristan has experience in tutoring as he was a teaching assistant in undergraduate Math and Digital System Design courses at EPFL. He provided lessons to help students understand lectures, complete exercises and lab work. As a tutor, Tristan tailors his lessons to each student and provides methodologies to efficiently learn and work for examinations. He also emphasizes on improving self-confidence, which he believes is a key element in academic success. He teaches Math, French, Physics and Programming Languages at school level as well as Math, French and Programming Languages at university level.

I am a French student in Zurich (at ETH) and offers French, maths and physics classes. I'm used to it and I've been tutoring for several years. I like it a lot - I also want to be a teacher and researcher, be patient, even if I expect a lot from the student. The goal is to better understand the basics and show what is interesting in the subject, so that the student is properly motivated.

Mostly, my teaching is concentrated not on exam preparation, which is also possible, but on leading a person through the path of science, showing its hidden beauty and, hopefully, helping him/her to fall in love with the subject. Note about math and physics: I am more oriented on theory. My main goal is not to teach how to solve particular problems (which is also a very important skill to obtain), but to explain the logical chain of thoughts that led to the development of the whole field. I'm a Spanish student currently studying a Quantum Information MSc at ETH Zürich. Physics is my passion and I love to teach it, always in a way that the student can understand the concepts and see the beauty behind them. I have taught an uncountable number of students of all kind of levels, from school children that need help with the course to adult people seeking to pass a physics exam for a pilot license or university students. In my 6 years of experience on teaching, what I have learnt is that usually most students just need a bit of motivation, and the best way to give them that motivation is showing them that physics and mathematics are beautiful and fun! I have a Surface Pro tablet that I normally use for aid during the class. It's very useful to show the students animations, videos and figures in order to transmit a better explanation of the concepts. I can also use it for giving classes through online videocall, sharing my screen and writing in it as it were a blackboard. I'm native Spanish so I can teach Spanish as well.
