I teach music in the most engaging way possible: by learning your favorite songs. You'll learn the basics of simple chords, how to use them in songs you already know, and then learn how to play them. Of course, there will be some theory, but we will rely more on the ear than on tedious scores! I teach in English, so it's a plus if you need help with the language or English phrases! I also teach you how to create your own compositions on guitar and piano, and how to make them more original with interesting chord changes. And, of course, I can also teach you how to write songs that sound good in English. Ideal for beginners or those looking to get started in composing pop, indie or soul music. I'm a British singer-songwriter and producer based in New York City. I've written over 100 songs and perform regularly in New York City. In 2023, I was selected for a three-month artist residency in Memphis, Tennessee, where I composed a wide range of new material, from dark, introspective folk to energetic indie rock.
