VOCAL TECHNIQUE FOR ALL TYPES OF MODERN SINGING, POP, SWING AND JAZZ SINGING LESSONS, VOCAL COACH, VOICE WORK.
Do you want to know the register of your voice? Can you sing the higher notes without hurting your voice? Learn how to do pass marks? Getting to have a powerful but also agile voice? I am a songwriter, pop and jazz singer and singing teacher with 20 years of experience in music. I offer singing lessons at all levels. My classes are addressed to the development of body, muscle and vocal awareness which helps to perceive and consider our body as a musical instrument. My teaching method is the result of the synthesis of my experience as a singer and the many and diverse courses of study followed. The lesson is structured in two parts: the first half devoted to vocal technique, the second half to the musical repertoire and the learning of musical language (jazz or pop or other genre). The vocal technique that I propose is a basic technique for all types of modern singing: from postural education to the care of breathing, from the use of the abdominal muscles, to the emission of air up to the cavities of resonance. We will work on the sound, on the extension of the voice, on the high and low notes, on the passage of register, on the control, on the power and the agility. From a repertoire point of view, the course will be modeled on the needs or interests of the student, with an eye to the right attitude to hold while you sing and you are on a stage. I can prepare the student for the entrance exam to the conservatory and any form of audition. If the student wishes, I can give him notions of harmony and reading music. EDUCATION I studied song in Italy with Bruno De Franceschi (conductor and composer of contemporary classical music and musical theatre). I studied vocal technique with the lyric singer David Sotgiu (pupil of Luciano Pavarotti), with the lyric singer Maria Grazia Pittavini (teacher at the Perugia Conservatory) and with Cinzia Spata (one of the most important Italian jazz vocal coaches). I studied jazz singing at the Perugia Conservatory with Marta Raviglia (one of the most important Italian jazz singing teachers) and privately with Cinzia Spata. I studied lyrical singing with Maria Grazia Pittavini. I studied pop and jazz piano with Manuel Magrini (one of the most talented young Italian jazz pianists), I studied jazz piano with Alessandro Bravo, jazz piano master at the Perugia Conservatory. I followed masterclasses and trainings relating to the world of singing and voice held by: Maria Pia De Vito (singer), Alejandro Saorin Martinez (voice craft / Estill method), Albert Hera (singer, vocal coach, circle song) , Erika Biavati (singer), Eleonora Bruni (singer), Catharina Kroeger (lyric singer), Amanda Tiffin (South African jazz singer), JD Walter (American jazz singer), Matteo Belli (actor and one of the most important Italian experts in voice research), Franco Fussi (one of the most important phoniatrists in Italy), Roberta Mazzocchi (speech therapist), one-year training in rhytmics and musical pedagogy at Institut Dalcroze in Brussels, three-month training in Gordon method for children between 0 and 6 years old. EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS I have 20 years of experience in music with around 200 concerts between festivals, theaters, clubs and premises, an album of songs, an EP, singles, collaborations with the world of theater, organization of musical events . I lead musical projects in the field of jazz and pop. The passion for singing and song has inevitably brought me closer to the world of education in which I work.

Private singing lessons for beginners/intermediates: meeting breath, body and voice
First of all, if you tell yourself that: - you don't know how to sing because one day someone told you that you "sing badly" or "wrong" - you love to sing but only alone in the shower, in your car, or anywhere/when no one can hear you - you would like to approach the practice in a different way than by "classical" musical learning (--> music theory, scales, tessitura, etc.) - you would like to gain more confidence in your vocal, rhythmic and/or breathing abilities - you would like to work on your "musical ear", your (stage) presence and/or different techniques of artistic expression (vocal) - you would like to learn more about your instrument which is your body, your breath and your voice in order to tame it and experience the ease and opulence in your singing ... and whether you have (partially) agreed to one or the other or each of these statements, it doesn't matter: there is a good chance that this course is for you! Meet your voice. Explore the places of resonance in your body, the range of your emotions, the chants of your thoughts. Let yourself be inspired…exhale… Our body, this instrument - what am I saying, this "nomadic cathedral" with its vaults, its alcoves, ... its multiple spaces of resonance -, we are often intrinsically rather than intimately linked to it. The vibrations that we emit when we sound our breath transforming into song, can prove to be a powerful tool in the resolution of tensions, the appeasement of the mind, but also in the (re) discovery of oneself through our body. , our senses and our voice, this musicality that is unique to us. We experience the world on a daily basis through our body and our senses, and the voice allows us to share these experiences with others, both in its daily and extra-daily communicative function; artistic; poetic. But when the spoken voice gives way to the singing voice, Music allows us to go even further… Sometimes even to touch what is called the Ineffable. Oh yeah... Just that..! Don't panic, everything in its time ;)

Singing lessons: improve your vocal skills and enjoy !
These lessons are made for beginners, intermediate singers who want to get deeper into their vocal possibilities. During the first half hour, we do a few vocal and physical exercises to warm up, discuss and identify what you want to improve or learn, and I am gonna give you keys and paths to reach your goals. The second half of the lesson is purely based on interpretation. I accompany you on the piano, and we sing the songs you chose. We try to work on different songs as often as possible to keep it as fun as possible ! I can also help you on writing/interpreting your own songs if you are into writing ! I also studied music for 5 years at the Conservatoire National à Rayonnement Régional of Nice, France.

Tout chanter !
A pioneering and innovative method of singing practice created in Denmark by Cathrine Sadolin twenty years ago, adopted by thousands of amateur and professional singers around the world. First, you have the possibility of increasing your comfort by applying the 3 basic principles for a healthy voice: Support, Twang and opening of the mouth. Then, it is a question of choosing the character of sound that you want to produce, by modifying the adjustment (the shape) which you give to your vocal tract (zone of the larynx, the mouth and the lips), one speaks then the mode in which you sing. -There is the Neutral mode which refers to soft sounds. -The Curbing mode whose sounds are a little louder and restrained. -Overdrive mode for loud and powerful sounds. -And finally the Edge mode for loud and sharp sounds. Anyone can use the 4 modes and switch between them. When you are in control and know the limitations, advantages and disadvantages of each of these modes, you will in fact be able to sing exactly what you want. you have access to several tools to acquire these new skills and this in-depth understanding of your voice. Before committing yourself, I would like you to think about your motivation, whether you are a beginner, an amateur or a professional, I work exclusively with people who are involved in their learning process.

Bianca
Conservatory graduate gives private lessons in modern singing and jazz
The method I use in my singing lessons is divided into two main parts: the technique and the repertoire. In vocal technique, we will work on specific aspects such as the anatomy of the phonatory apparatus, its functioning, breathing, vocal emission, extension exercises, vocal register, vocal agility and vocal hygiene. . In the repertoire, we will mainly work on songs that help and support the development of everyone's artistic personality, and we will choose songs that can help the student acquire new vocal language and vocal cues. With me you can work on songs in Italian (I am a native Italian speaker), in English (I graduated from the Brussels Conservatory in English under the direction of my singing teacher David Linx), in French and in Spanish (languages that I studied, spoke and sung) and finally in Portuguese (a language that I studied a lot thanks to the Brazilian music that I sang and from which I learned a lot). My method is for anyone of any age who has decided to use their voice consciously, so not only singers but also actors, teachers and anyone who has to use the voice in their profession. With children, the method will focus more on rhythm, singing and musical awakening. In addition, we will explore topics such as complementary piano (piano accompaniment with voice), songwriting (writing your first songs or helping you write and write an unreleased song), recording and producing songs. a cover or your own original song. In short, there are so many things to learn about voice and music that the avenues are endless and I am always looking for them, constantly updating and with great passion that I can't wait to pass on to you.
