At this time, almost the end of the year, we are slowly approaching the CFC exam period. This is why I would like to share my help in preparing you for these exams that you will have at the end of the year. So I help with oral exams in French, German and English. Having myself graduated in 2022, I am perfectly able to support you on this final stretch.

Practice leads to perfection Unless you learned to speak French when you were a child, it is difficult when you don't speak it fluently to pass for a French speaker. However, this does not prevent you from learning to speak it correctly, because it is well known that a language spoken with a foreign accent is an asset of seduction! Although it may seem complicated, learning a new language is always fun and beneficial, so it is important to practice as much as possible and above all not to give up. Take every opportunity you are given to speak the language and listen to French as soon as possible. And remember: practice leads to perfection!

My course is intended for non-French speaking adults of all levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). I use an effective learning method adapted to each student. I use various educational documents, such as press articles, courses specially prepared for the student with targeted exercises, oral comprehension, written expressions ... Each daily lesson includes the progressive learning of grammar, spelling, pronunciation, conjugation and vocabulary. I also focus on oral and written expression.

The technology to improve your French. Classes with a certified native teacher. Hello Bonjour! I am a native French teacher and have graduated in French Philology since 2012. I have eight years of experience in Belgium and abroad. I propose online classes with a method that I have developed over the years, specifically for online classes. My method: -During class we focus on speaking. Outside of class, I will send you exercises that I will correct each week (grammar, conjugation, writing...). -I use a particular technique based on questions/answers to apply the grammar when speaking. -You will also receive access to an application for your Smartphone (to learn the vocabulary). -Use an interactive whiteboard. -We will use a shared online notebook to correct your exercises and ask me your questions at any time of the day. I propose preparation for official exams (DELF, DALF, TCF, EOI, FIDE in Switzerland...). Classes for beginners, intermediate or advanced levels. Preparation of conferences or talks for business. I am a Belgian (Flemish) and French student who has recently completed a Master's degree in International Law at the University of Amsterdam. I completed my Bachelor's degree in International Relations at the University of Geneva (magna cum laude) and also spent six months on exchange at UCSB (University of California, Santa Barbara). Additionally, I attended an international high school in France for my secondary education, where I specialized in sciences and achieved a score of 18/20 on the final scientific baccalaureate. The classes at this school were taught in French, english, dutch, and spanish. Here is an overview of my previous tutoring experience: 2021/2022: I worked at "bijlesthuis," a Dutch tutoring institution, where I primarily taught french, dutch, and english to adult learners seeking to improve their language skills. During the same period, I also provided classes to other students through Apprentus. 2021: Through Apprentus and other websites, I assisted several younger students (ages 5-15) in Bern and Geneva, helping them improve their skills in subjects such as math and french. 2017/2020: I worked for three years at a tutoring institution in Geneva called ARA, where I primarily taught french, mathematics, and english. During this time, I also spent two years working at a private school called Florimont, where I supported students aged 11-16 across various subjects by assisting them with their homework. I can teach French, Dutch, and English, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching and assisting students in their progress and acquisition of new skills. As a person, I am flexible, calm, and positive. I give French lessons for Francophones and foreigners of all levels. My goal is to give you confidence and teach you the rules of grammar to be able to express yourself clearly. We do readings together, we learn spelling, syntax and pronunciation if necessary. We also have conversations on topics chosen by level. I give homework at the end of each course and adapt it to your availability and the speed at which you want to progress. I also do written and oral tests. So we see together the evolution and adapt the course each time.

Language learning is often considered to be difficult and boring. During my classes, I offer a lot of interactions through various situations which allow us to imagine contexts that are familiar to us and to benefit more from learning. I also suggest analyzing short videos or music by taking notes as well as games adapted to the age of the person which stimulate interest in the course. Myself, having difficulties learning languages at the start of my adolescence, I was able to create methods to adapt and facilitate the understanding of the construction of languages that I like to transmit to my students. I offer personalized courses according to the student needs (travelling, living abroad, etc.) I prepare for exams such as the DELPH. A typical lesson for an intermediate level consists mainly of speaking, and grammar is learned through repetition and natural acquisition. A summary of the lesson is given at the end of the course. I also recommend tools like movies or other podcasts. Online courses are usually done via google meet. I also have lessons on the phone or via WhatsApp. I accept all levels.
