Présentation
I am a pianist, singer, and general music educator based in Brooklyn, NY.
In July 2021, I worked as the music director for a one-month production of "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" at Arlington Children's Theatre in the Greater Boston Area. This involved conducting rehearsals and private coachings, recording tracks, and performing in the show.
I have years of experience teaching students of all ages both privately and in the classroom. In addition to teaching high school courses in piano, choral arts, and general theory, I have taught general music from Kindergarten to fifth grade as well as conducted choir rehearsals at public and charter schools. Currently, I am teaching private lessons for all ages at the award-winning Anahid Syourapian Piano Studio.

Education

Expérience / Qualifications
During my time at WCU, I performed in multiple choirs and small ensembles both affiliated and unaffiliated with the school. In university choirs, I was often featured as a soloist and was the tenor section leader in my final year. Additionally, I conducted and directed choir rehearsals and performances at the University Church. Presently, I continue to gig as a performer and director because I believe a good music teacher must keep their performance skills sharp in order to educate effectively.
I work with students of all ages -- children and adults -- at the beginner to intermediate level. I have also worked with students with special needs, including visual impairments, autism spectrum disorder, and ADHD.
