My name is Loris, I'm 22 years old, and I'm a student at the Paris Conservatory (CNSMDP) in the jazz department. I've been playing saxophone since I was 14 and previously studied in Germany, where I'm from. Since I started playing, I've performed in various big bands and solo projects, such as the South German Youth Jazz Orchestra. For my own projects, I've toured throughout Germany, France, and the Netherlands. I also taught for a long time in Germany at a music school, where I had students ranging from 11 to 65 years old, and I thoroughly enjoyed teaching all levels and musical styles! Having gained considerable experience, I know what's important for each student and how to best achieve their goals and, above all, make learning enjoyable! I offer saxophone lessons to beginner saxophonists and to already experienced saxophonists. I also give lessons in improvisation, theory, harmony, music theory and composition. In short, everything you need to play and improvise in the style of jazz. During improvisation classes in my music studio, I use accompaniment instead of a jazz rhythm section (piano, bass, and drums). This effectively prepares students for playing in a real band later on. In addition to saxophone lessons, I can give piano lessons as a second instrument for saxophonists, which is essential in order to understand and hear harmony. I give lessons at my home in Paris. For students who are unable to attend in-person lessons, I can give video lessons via WhatsApp. My job as a teacher is declared. Students can obtain invoices. I accept students with irregular schedules and availability.
