The world of music theory and notation can seem daunting and complex for the uninitiated, but with a little bit of coaching, anyone can learn to speak the language of composition. In this class, I will teach students how to notate their musical ideas, as well as to stretch and develop them into fully fledged pieces.

Suitable for any level of ability, I can introduce the basics, help with GCSE and A-Level students, or assist anyone who is interested in composition as an independent project. With me, you will learn about a variety of composers and their music from J.S. Bach to Morton Feldman and their approaches to composition. This will do nothing but enrich your own work and inspire your creativity.

I specialize in music theory. I want to teach at grades 0-5. I aim to make my lessons challenging but not too challenging. Every lesson I want to have a clear aim and focus. I want you to bring your struggles and worries so we can work on them. Even if you've never done music theory don't be worried as you have to start somewhere. And I'm a firm believer that your never to old learn.

As a singing teacher with an active performance career in classical/opera singing, I offer one-to-one singing lessons to students of all abilities and in all genres of singing. My Bachelors of Music degree and Masters of Music degree from the Royal Northern College of Music makes me a specialist in classical singing - this expands into Opera, Lied, English Song and French Mélodie. I have also trained in LAMDA Musical Theatre and performed with the National Youth Music Theatre in London's West End, adding Musical Theatre and Pop to my teaching repertoire. Grade 8 qualified with ABRSM, i will prepare students for both theory and singing exams.

We start with tuning and doing basic training, revision of last lesson for 15 minutes, follow by learning those pieces in detail for about 20 - 25 minutes. *Part of basic training will always in every lesson. This helps students to have a better control of their fingers' independence, and to strengthen every techniques.

For specific learning Chinese music theory students, please bring with a notebook to mark down those key points.

I grew up in Athens, Greece, I am a graduate of the Berklee College of Music (US) affiliate's, Philippos Nakas Conservatory, Modern Music department and I specialise in Rock, Metal and Fusion.
In addition, I have more accreditation from RGT (Registry of Guitar Tutors) and BIMM (British and Irish Modern Music Institute), but I believe in a hands on approach.
