The music writing courses (jazz harmony and contemporary music, arrangement, orchestration) are suitable for all levels in all styles of music:

JAZZ HARMONY
“Understand where it all started…”
Harmony developed thanks to rules... which we always try to circumvent!
Whether in the tonal, modal or synthetic world, harmony often serves as a basis for reflection for composition, for improvisation (but not only that!...).
Let's discover together the codes and conventions that govern this universe!

ARRANGEMENT
“Understanding today’s music”
The purpose of the arranging course is to show the different stages which lead to the creation of a musical piece, whether it is sung or not.

ORCHESTRATION
“Tradition at the service of modernity”
Orchestrating means “putting timbres together” to create a sound!
In this course, we learn to manage the instruments of the Orchestra and to create sound colors according to the emotion to be transmitted... Of course, this knowledge can be adapted to all instruments, acoustic as well as electric!

About Me
I have been a music writing teacher for over 30 years (including 14 years at the CIM in Paris).

Learning how to write music allows you to hear it better, to situate your role as an instrumentalist according to the musical style played, to know how to find your way in the sound space...

I developed my own teaching method: I drew inspiration from all the teachers I met during my studies, from all the groups in which I played, from all the music I listened to, analyzed and of course written to establish my lesson plan. The international diversity of students who have benefited from my teaching, and their enthusiastic reactions, seem to indicate that I am on a good path to transmitting past and current knowledge of music writing.

What I'm offering in my classes is not the boring and traditional way, which is too slow, boring and not always effective.
My methods always had great results on my students whether it's their first touch of the guitar's strings or they are struggling to improve their levels, or they're advanced and they want to move the next level of complex and fast pieces of music and playing like the great Al di Meola, Paco de Lucia and the great other musicians.

I put always my self in a challenge to make my students achieve their goals no matter hard it is the situation in their minds, I always make it easy and smooth to be done through different strategies and methods.

I've been teaching guitar in different countries and i was always happy with the success of my students and I've been always impressed with some great talents within them..

Looking for a new hobby?

Maybe you’ve always wanted to play the guitar but never had the chance...

Despite what many people may believe, learning the guitar does not require any previous knowledge or an innate sense of musicality. Like any other skill, it is something that can be developed. All that is needed is the motivation to learn and improve!
Learning from a qualified and experienced teacher can help put you on the right path to acheiving your goals.

A little about me:

My name is Charles and I am a guitar teacher, living and working in Luxembourg. Prior to moving here, I was living in the UK where I studied for a 2 year qualification in Music Practice before going on to study Music Composition at university, with a specialization in Education. Over the years, I have taught students of all ages and levels of ability, making sure to tailor classes to their needs and interests.

Music Technology and making music can be one of the most rewarding activities for all ages in that students can make something that they have made by themselves fairly quickly. Past students have gone on to enjoy rewarding and lucrative careers in the music and entertainment industries. Perhaps you would like to make music to make presentations more interesting, or maybe you'd like to add music to promotional material. Maybe your child would like to make music with computers but needs help to realise their potential in music and would like to make music that they really enjoy.

I have been teaching music and music technology for the last 12 years. I have seen many students go on to study music and music technology at university and work in the industry. Some students have gone on to post their music and videos on social media and now understand how to make them sound professional. This course is for anyone who would like to make music, to learn to record or to learn to compose.

I am a classical pianist and film scoring composer, graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston.
In today’s world, I believe it’s essential to find a balance between developing creative skills beyond technology and adapting professionally through it.

My classes offer a unique combination of piano lessons and music production. We explore music theory in a practical, engaging way — by creating our own compositions, analyzing them, and applying the concepts directly to our work.

I use a variety of tools and programs in my teaching, including Logic Pro, Cubase, and Sibelius, depending on the student’s level and goals. With these, we learn to:

Write music by hand and digitally.
Create original compositions and orchestral arrangements.
Record and produce our own performances.
One of my favorite aspects of teaching children is working through storytelling and emotional expression.
Have you ever imagined what Peter Pan’s musical theme might sound like? How can music express the adventurous nature of such a character?

Children love discovering how sound can describe their dreams, fears, and hopes — and this process is not only fun, but also deeply enriching.
