This class is suitable for beginners, intermediate, or advanced musicians, as well as music lovers who want to delve deeper into the art of music-making. We will use Ableton as our main DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) because of its powerful tools for creating, playing, producing, and even performing your live set in front of an audience. The class will be tailored to your interests and the music genres you want to explore. The goal is that by the end of your training with me, you’ll have the tools you need to write, produce, and mix a song—and even perform it live, if that’s something you're aiming for.

Informations supplémentaires

You’ll need your own laptop and, ideally, Ableton Standard or Suite, even if it’s just the trial version. We can also work with Logic if that’s more suitable for you. An audio interface and a microphone or main instrument are recommended but not mandatory.

Hello! I’m a composer, producer, mixing engineer, and multi-instrumentalist. I’ve self-produced my own music and worked on albums for a wide range of artists across various genres. I also have experience composing music for theatre.

My passion is helping others discover their unique musical voice and teaching them the tools they need to become creative and self-sufficient artists. I have over ten years of experience working with children and teenagers, so all ages are welcome!

Education

Daniela studied singing at the National School of Music (UNAM) from 2004 to 2009 and obtained certification in singing and piano at DIM Music School from 2009 to 2011. She has pursued continued education in music production and technology, including courses such as "Arrangement for Songwriters" at Berklee School of Music (2021), "Sound Synthesis and Sound Design" at SAE Institute (2021), and multiple certifications at the Conservatory of Contemporary Music, including Audio Engineering, Live Sound, and Mixing and Mastering (2022–2024). She is currently completing a professional course in Mixing and Mastering at ICMP (2025) and holds a Dante Level 1 certification (2024).

Daniela is a composer, producer, mixing engineer, and multi-instrumentalist with over 15 years of experience across genres and formats. She has produced and performed with bands like Béke and Magisses, composed for award-winning theatre productions, and worked internationally as a session and touring musician. Her experience also includes live sound engineering, audio production, and music direction for live performances and festivals. In 2023, she was selected as a OneBeat Fellow, and she is currently producing solo albums for other artists and her own project, Reifier. Her skill set includes composition, arrangement, production, singing, piano, accordion, mixing, and mastering.

My method is ... LEARN BY MAKING YOUR MUSIC!

The student will learn techniques, stylistic elements, tricks ... already by working on his first tracks: to keep motivation and satisfaction high, the result is always visible!
The lessons are face-to-face and personalised according to the level of experience and the musical style of the student. The presentation of the information is clear and accompanied by practical examples.

I'll show you how to:
- use Ableton Live,
- program and control synthesizers and virtual instruments,
- use microphone and sound card to record your voice and your instruments,
- process sound with effects (plugins) and optimize it for diffusion (mixing and mastering),
- make your songs, from start to the last details.

I also speak Spanish, French, German and Italian.

I have instructed students of different age groups in saxophone performance and music theory (including counterpoint, harmony and composition) up until university level, in Spain and the UK. After graduating from Cambridge with a double starred first, taking into consideration my academic results and teaching experience, I have also been selected for inclusion in the Supervisor Registry to teach counterpoint and harmony papers. My approach to lessons is very flexible, and I always try to adapt to the needs and qualities of each student. I believe that communication is essential, and at the beginning of each lesson I ask my students if they found my recommendations from the previous lesson helpful and how they see their progress. After this spoken introduction, we proceed to work on some warm-up and technical exercises. Then, we play some studies and pieces, or go over some music theory exercises, trying to apply the advice from the previous lesson and make further improvements. Finally, we conclude the lesson with a summary, listing the main key points and suggestions and comparing our experience to the previous lessons, trying to find a clear sense of progression and a coherent line of work towards a certain goal. This teleological mindset occupies a central position in my methodology, and I always encourage my students to look ahead and plan a series of stimulating events or challenges to look foward to, such as a concert, a recital, a presentation or an exam.

My name is Andrea, I have recently concluded my Artist's Master in keyboard instruments at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. My passion for music induced me to apply in the “Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria” in the course of Harpsichord as my principal study. After 10 years studying music and obtaining the diploma of “Grado de Enseñanzas Profesionales” in the conservatory, I developed a deep interest for Classical and Early music for keyboard instruments.

Discovering a historical and musical universe, I decided to continue my performing and theoretical investigation studying the bachelor course in keyboard instruments including piano, harpsichord and organ. I had the amazing opportunity to obtain a scholarship and study at the "Conservatorio Tartini di Trieste", in Italy. Working with exceptional teachers, i was able expand my linguistic abilities and cultural appreciation for the expressive diversity of Keyboard music. I have discovered the magnificent variety between many composers all around Europe and the distinct features and techniques they utilized to improvise and to embellish their pieces. During this artistic journey, i have had extraordinary performance experiences as a soloist including playing at the Parlament of Brussels and the National Gallery in Bosnia. Recently, living in London has inspired me to take part in a wide variety of exciting projects such as performing as a keyboard accompanist in Opera Scenes and with the Guildhall Baroque Orchestra in the Milton Court Concert Hall.
