My aim is to build my student's confidence, by following their line of inquiry — engaging in a rich, and increasingly challenging dialogue with the individual. My classes are for children and teenagers, who want to: . Develop and widen their vocabulary; . Need help preparing for an exam, a paper or an important interview; . Gain confidence in spoken English; . Attain a fluent level of spoken and written English We will begin by identifying the student's greatest interests — those subjects they are most curious about and topics that stimulate them. These topics will be "stimulators", fueling conversations and language activities that the student themselves will eventually lead. Then, we will identify the student's biggest worries regarding the English language — where they are confused, or tend to make mistakes. This will form the workshop part of the lesson, focused on overcoming tricky grammatical mistakes and revising more complex linguistic and phonetic errors. I also offer the possibility of following a Cambridge exam orientated syllabus, such as Family and Friends, Cambridge Starters, Movers, Flyers, or B1, B2. My teenage daughter studied English with Amalia, and I can give only very positive recommendations. Amalia was always very helpful, dedicated and patient. She coached my daughter before each school test to get her better prepared. I could see that my daughter welcomes each lesson, which is totally a credit to Amalia's teaching style. Amazingly, Amalia was giving me as a parent a feedback after each lesson on how it went, what they were focusing on and how my daughter was prepared for that. Such ongoing feedback to the parent of a teenager is a great relief! Should we need more support next year,we will definitely contact Amalia

I started my yoga journey with Bahar 2-3 months ago with private lessons, and she has been a wonderful teacher so far. She is very attentive, and centers the experience and expectations of the student. Every week or two, we assess how my personal practice is going, and adjust the flow of the classes accordingly. Instead of just telling or demonstrating what to do, she remains in constant dialogue with me in order that I find what resonates with me in terms of movement, pace, and balance. I am very happy with our classes, and would continue for longer!

Very sweet lady who is always asking how she can improve and cater her lessons towards your personal needs! Knows very well the French language and not on a fluent level, but also the technicalities behind it. Is willing to take time with you and work on your mistakes, as well as trying to explain some French key moments that are difficult to understand for foreign language speakers in a way that is understandable. Always makes sure to challenge you and sees how you can improve! Had a very lovely experience :)
