Kay (Unfold Pilates) is a Body Control Pilates Teacher (Level 3 Matwork). Pilates is great for all levels of fitness & mobility - and all exercises can be adapted to different levels. Pilates gives you a whole body workout, we focus on mobilising all the joints throughout the body, do some core and back strengthening exercises, stretches as well as relaxation. People enjoy Pilates for very different reasons - to get moving, to improve posture and range of mobility in their joints, to get/feel fitter & healthier and also to get stronger after injury/illness or relieve back pain and strengthen their spine, improve balance & co-ordination. It’s also great for building core strength and strengthening any muscle weaknesses, it can also help with stress & anxiety. Classes can be any length from 30mins to 1.5hr - if you are a beginner I can teach you the fundamentals and if experienced I can help you develop and strengthen your practice.
