His collaborations include artists such as Jodie Devos, Bruno Philippe, Thomas Dunford, Anastasia Kobekina, Kotaro Fukuma, Justin Taylor, Frank Braley, Paul Meyer, the Hermès Quartet, the Zadig Trio, as well as orchestras including the Orchestre National d'Île-de-France, the Orchestre National de Lyon, the Orchestre de Picardie, the Toulon Opera Orchestra, and the Æon Music Ensemble. His work spans a wide spectrum, from solo piano to large orchestra, including chamber opera and string quartet. Also active as an improvising pianist, he also manages the estate of his father, a painter and sculptor. In 2023, he published his first novel, Gaspard, with Éditions Léo Scheer. The following year, he composed the music for the feature film Island by Nora Jaenicke, starring Fanny Ardant and Joanna Kulig, as well as part of the soundtrack for the film Une affaire d'honneur by Vincent Perez. Ideal for all ages who want to learn to play chords on guitar or piano. I also enjoy teaching the art of music writing. I teach music in the most engaging way possible: by learning your favorite songs. You'll learn the basics of simple chords, how to use them in songs you already know, and then learn how to play them. Of course, there will be some theory, but we will rely more on the ear than on tedious scores! I teach in English, so it's a plus if you need help with the language or English phrases! I also teach you how to create your own compositions on guitar and piano, and how to make them more original with interesting chord changes. And, of course, I can also teach you how to write songs that sound good in English. Ideal for beginners or those looking to get started in composing pop, indie or soul music. I'm a British singer-songwriter and producer based in New York City. I've written over 100 songs and perform regularly in New York City. In 2023, I was selected for a three-month artist residency in Memphis, Tennessee, where I composed a wide range of new material, from dark, introspective folk to energetic indie rock. We clicked from the moment we met. I enjoy working with her. Started to improve from the first lesson. Working with her is a lot of fun but at the same time very informative. I would highly recommend Cecile and the best part is that she speaks english.
