I loved helping students progress, I always helped my friends when they had difficulty in a subject. I attach great importance to listening to the student and understanding how it works in order to go at his own pace and explain to him in a way that is accessible to him, that he will understand. Everyone learns in a different way, so you have to be flexible in how you learn.

I am currently a student in the 2nd year of a history license in Arras and I obtained my baccalaureate with honors with the congratulations of the jury and the English European Section. In high school, I took the HGGSP specialty (History, Geography, Geopolitics and Political Science) and I still have all of my courses available. I could help with the understanding of history lessons, to explain the course, to test knowledge but also to provide advice for the realization of the two fundamental exercises of history: the essay and the commentary of text / documents. Similarly, having followed the English European section in high school, I had history and geography lessons in English and I can help in this area as well. I am more comfortable giving help in history than in geography, however I am fully capable of helping and explaining geography lessons at college and high school level because I still have geography lessons in my bachelor's degree. I want to best adapt to the profile of the student to be able to help him as best as possible and make him progress. Everyone has different ways of learning and it's important to respect that. Thus, I will do my best to match the courses with the needs of the students. For information, with my bachelor's degree I studied most historical periods (ancient, medieval, modern, contemporary history) as well as in several aspects (social, economic, cultural, events, etc.), which means that I have more or less covered the subjects covered in middle school or high school history lessons. The history degree in Arras also allows me to have geography lessons, which allows me to always work on this subject and its methods.

I am a third-year student in History and obtained a literary baccalaureate with honors. I therefore offer support or advanced courses in History and Geography but also in French. Understanding the challenges of the History of France and the world is very important in the school curriculum and is useful in higher education. It is above all a key to understanding the present world. The same is true for geography: around it are articulated the major themes of our society (trade, changing demography, globalization, relations between States, sustainable development and inequalities). As for French, I have solid literary references and I would be keen to teach how to understand a text. Grammar, conjugation and vocabulary lessons can also be given (for possible allophone students, I speak English and a little German and Polish). I would know how to support a college or high school student in their career, whatever their level.

Are you a college or high school student and need help with your History lessons? I can help you ! Currently a student in the second year of a Double Degree in History, Geography and Planning, I have always been passionate about History in all its aspects. I know the program taught in college and I will be able to explain it to you with simplicity, pedagogy and humor, while giving you if you wish films, videos, books or even magazines related to your course and which can make it. all the more interesting. The same goes for the high school lessons that I know almost by heart and of which I still have written traces that I can entrust to you. The session will begin with an explanation of the strengths of the course, diagram and / or supporting sheet, prepared by me and that I will send to you by email or that I will print to you. Concretely, this part will consist in explaining the course in a synthetic and more understandable way. I will then help you by answering all of your questions regarding the course and explaining to you what you did not understand, I am very patient on that and I hope you will ask the most questions possible! Then, if time allows it, we will finish the course with a small check (2 or 3 questions) if we are in person or a small quiz if we are in distance (on quizlet). From one session to another, the homework will simply be to revise the learning seen during the sessions.

Hello, I am currently a law student at the university and I am available for courses in History, and possibly also Geography. Being passionate about these subjects, I can help your child to progress in these subjects, which require a lot of thought and writing. This is why I also propose to help your child on the methodological aspect, and not only on the concepts in themselves. I already have several experiences of private lessons with primary and early secondary school students. I would do my best to adapt and target your child's difficulties, to help them progress as well as possible. Being currently on vacation, my availability is very wide from July 05, 2021.
