Hello! My name is Daniil and I am very passionate about physics and I would like to share this passion with you during our lessons. I have Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mats and Physics, which I obtained in the best technical university in my home country (Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology). I have excellent knowledge in both General Physics (Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electricity and Magnetism, Optics) and Theoretical Physics (Quantum Mechanics, Statistical Physics, Physical Kinetics). I have been tutoring students for over three years now, and my students have won Russian physics Olympiads and have shown highest exam results (Russian State Exam in physics). During my lessons, to spice things up, I like to show how to solve the problems and tasks which I take from various Olympiads from all over the world. And, of course, I explain everything to my students in great detail, even the most basic concepts of physics. I get along with my students immediately, though it may take some time for me to identify weak points in the physics curriculum of my students. I have recently moved to Munich to continue my journey to become a scientist and I am currently studying masters of Astrophysics at LMU. My doctoral research at Université Côte d'Azur and the Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur, through a research program co-funded by CNES, focused on the development and experimental validation of a 10 Gb/s free-space optical system over a 5 km atmospheric link. My academic and research experience allows me to combine theoretical explanations with concrete examples from experimental physics, optical instrumentation, laser systems, telecommunications, and scientific research.

I just finished my bachelor's degree in chemistry with a minor in mathematics. I'm currently doing a master's degree in astronomy, specifically focused on astrochemistry. In this course, I teach introductory-level Cosmology using creative and intuitive methods, backed by my strong physics background and the unique, original notes I took during university lectures. ​My core teaching principle is to make the grand scale of the universe engaging and enjoyable. I focus heavily on the student's specific questions, striving to ensure they grasp the underlying physical logic and cosmic mechanics—from the Big Bang to dark energy—rather than relying on rote memorization. ​If the student wishes to advance further, we can transition into senior-level astrophysics or the foundational concepts of General Relativity in later stages. After bridging any mathematical or structural gaps, my goal is to build a solid, advanced foundation using cosmology textbooks taught at top-tier universities, tailored through my personalized teaching approach to prepare them for deeper expertise. ​All lessons will be conducted online via Zoom. ​Understanding the universe isn’t inherently difficult—it just requires wonder, passion, and dedication!
