ABOUT A second-year student at the Paris National Conservatory of Music and Dance, Selma is an accordionist. In 2018, she won first prize in the National Accordion Trophy in the under-16 category, and in 2021, first prize in the National Union of Accordionists of France competition in the Espoir category. For the 2024 season of the National Jazz Orchestra, she was selected to join the accordion section of the Youth Orchestra. His polyphonic instrument gives him access to a vast artistic universe, ranging from world music to classical music, including theater and singing. In this lesson, Ostap went through the details of liber tango with me and taught me chords in F major. He is very professional, patient and good humored.
