I graduated in piano with the highest honors under the guidance of Maestro Roberto Corlianò. Later I worked in: Salzburg, Austria (as a piano teacher's assistant) and later in Italy and in the Netherlands as a piano teacher. I have had students from 4 to 75 and the lessons will be open to all those who want to approach this instrument for the first time or wish to deepen their knowledge. My approach is very free and is based on the needs of the student. I work exceptionally hard and am always open to finding new teaching methods. I try to understand students' weaknesses to reduce difficulties and their strengths to improve their skills. Currently I am teaching piano at Musikschule Behm, Bertheau & Morgenstern, in Potsdam.

Hello there! My name is Sara and I'm a classical pianist and piano teacher. I have been a pianist for about 15 years and started teaching it a while ago as well. I offer lessons in 3 different languages ( English, Arabic and German) for both beginner and intermediate levels. I believe music should be enjoyed and comfortably played, allowing people to both connect with it and understand while challenging them to express themselves in new and different ways. Music lessons are fun and will be set to make the student confident and comfortable in their playing. If any student needs extra time or space to feel secure and safe, I will offer as much understanding and security as I can. Trust is my number one motto, if for any reason a student feels pressured or uncomfortable they can come and talk to me directly and we shall figure out a way to make music learning fun and enjoyable for them. I'd like to think of myself as someone who truly enjoys making a good change in the world and who tries to offer the best possible experience when getting to know the instrument and how to play it and I hope you find the trust in me to sign up for my class! Thank you and have a lovely day Sara

Learning jazz is learning 20th and 21st century popular music, since that's where it's roots are coming from.Whether being a rock musician, hip hop producer,or a pop singer, jazz is what brings everything to another level.Mastering jazz phrasing, gives any musician an elite level of rhythmical fluency. I also teach classical music, and I highly recommend it,especially for beginners, for developing the right habits from the start. In this class,I deal with music theory, rhythm, harmony and improvisation, and for pianists, since I am one, also with piano technique, and reading music.

German below - I started learning piano at the age of five and was lucky enough to work with the same teacher for thirteen years. During my university years at the University Mozarteum Salzburg and the University of the Arts Berlin, I had the chance to experience different teachers and approaches to music. Through this, I came to understand how important it is to find a teacher you connect with, and how our needs can change throughout our musical journey. In my teaching, I prioritize giving my students the tools they need to become independent musicians themselves: knowing how to practice effectively, improving their sight-reading skills (which opens up an entire library of music), understanding their own strengths and areas where they can improve, and building a solid foundation of basic music theory as far as it is relevant for their piano playing. A typical lesson looks like this: we start with a warm-up, review the previous week's practice, work on current repertoire, and set clear goals for the week ahead. I focus on helping students approach new music with more understanding and confidence. At the same time, I feel that individuality can sometimes be overlooked in the process of improving as musicians. For me, it is equally important to leave space for creativity, through improvisation, exploring different interpretation options, listening to different recordings, and discovering different repertoire or musical styles. I began playing the piano at the age of five and was fortunate enough to work with the same teacher for thirteen years. During my studies at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and the Berlin University of the Arts, I had the opportunity to encounter various teachers and different musical approaches. (German version further down) I enjoy teaching because it requires a deeper knowledge of the material than if one is only performing music. I am continuously learning too. I do not think that it is important how old you are or in what environment you grew up. To engage with music as a result of learning an instrument can bring your brain into a healthy state of ongoing change. People who are "without any talent" for music do not exist. Everyone can engage with music and enjoy it. I can teach piano: - involving sheet music or not, depending on what you prefer. - or/and music theory lessons - or/and improvisation - or/and Jazz - or/and Ear Training - or/and Composition. The lessons can be held in English or German or a mixture of both. I teach close to Friedrichstraße in Berlin. The lessons can be done via Skype too. You can read about me as a performing musician here: Julius (*1995) is a German pianist and composer, graduated from the University of Arts Berne in Switzerland in 2017 with honors. In July 2019 he finished his Masters in the European Jazz Masters Program through the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen with exchange semesters in Berlin and Amsterdam. Throughout his studies, he was lucky enough to receive artistic guidance from Colin Vallon, Django Bates, Harmen Fraanje, Simon Toldam, Peter Bruun, Greg Cohen, and Michael Moore. Julius was granted a scholarship by Lyra Stiftung Zürich in 2015 and 2016. Tours with his own bands have been supported by different fundings from Switzerland and Germany. He performed all across Europe during the past years. German: When teaching, it's important to have a deeper understanding of everything than when "just" making music. I'm always learning as a teacher. It doesn't matter how old you are or whether you grew up in a music-rich or music-poor environment. Engaging with music can put our brains into a healthy state of constant change and growth. There are no people who are "talentedless" when it comes to music. Everyone can engage with music and enjoy it. I offer lessons with or without sheet music, depending on your preference. If you're interested, I also teach music theory, improvisation, jazz, ear training, and composition. Classes are held in German or English, or a mixture of both. I teach near Friedrichstrasse in Berlin. Classes can also be held via Skype. Here is an insight into my musical work: Julius (*1995) is a German pianist and composer working in the fields of jazz and improvised music. He completed his bachelor's degree at the Bern University of the Arts in 2017 with distinction. In July 2019, he completed the European Jazz Masters at the Rytmisk Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, with exchange semesters at the Jazz Institute Berlin and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. In 2015 and 2016, he received a scholarship from the Lyra Foundation in Zurich. His bands' tours have been regularly supported by German and Swiss foundations in recent years. Julius has played concerts all over Europe in recent years.

If you are one of these people, then you've come to the right place: * Beginners, children or adults * People with poor piano experience or “stuck” players * Parents who want their children to learn music like a language and develop focus and calmness in the process * Music lovers, musicians or fans of certain styles who want to play creatively themselves Then you've come to the right place. I have been a musician since childhood and play the piano. I have been working as a piano teacher for 5 years. I am also an architect and multidisciplinary artist, exploring the connection between sound and visual art. The lessons focus on piano practice, reading music and a better understanding of music – using methods such as Piano Adventures, Alfred and other modern textbooks. After about 5 months, many of my students see a clear difference in their playing, understanding, and self-confidence. ✨ Suitable for children, beginners and anyone who wants to learn piano in a modern and enjoyable way. For me, music is not a theory, but a language that one lives. Music should be learned and treated like a language. Listening, reading (music), writing and playing. The goal is for you to eventually "speak" music naturally, without thinking too much. Feel free to write to me if you want to know more about my teaching or how I teach music like a second language. Other programs (feel free to ask for details at any time – I'll send you all the information): • Program for musical culture and listening comprehension for children and adult artists • Program: Piano lessons and music reading for all age groups • Basic music theory program for beginners and musicians • Program “Sight-reading” (direct reading and playing of music) Karam Berlin, Friedrichshain

I'm Mary from Berlin. I'm a teacher and piano composer with 15 years of experience and also teach at a music school. I also have a bachelor's degree in teaching English. If you're interested in teaching your children how to play the piano in addition to theoretical knowledge, I'd be happy to help you. I prefer to adapt my lessons to the needs and wishes of my students. I believe that the teacher's main goal in the first lesson is to encourage students so that he or she can soon play the music of a famous composer and composer, cultivating a love of music in students' hearts from day one. I love my job. I teach Russian, German, and English in my apartment on Wilmersdorfer Str., Berlin, or online lessons.
