Alex, born in Madrid in 1984. Guitarist and composer. Classical, electric and bass guitar teacher. I don't know Winner of the first prize for Best Guitarist at the Emergenza Belgium Festival 2016. With more than ten years of teaching, I have taught courses in Barcelona, Paris and Brussels, to students of all levels and ages, being these in English, French, Spanish or Catalan. I master a wide variety of styles: from classical music to flamenco, folk, jazz, blues, as well as rock and all varieties of the metal genre. I work with different teaching methods according to the goals and personality of each student, adapting to their learning pace and musical interests. I offer engaging and motivating game-based classes for kids, as well as advanced harmony and improvisation classes for experienced musicians.

My classes follow the Suzuki method, but I am interested in knowing about the student and their tastes in order to be able to provide the best study plan. We will use technical fundamentals and many practical examples. I am a graduate of RCSMM (Madrid) and DePaul University School of Music (Chicago) and I have had experience in orchestra, chamber music and as a teacher. I have played as a recitalist in venues both in Europe and the US and received a Fulbright scholarship for my postgraduate studies. As flash education is the new trend on the web, I try to identify myself as someone that does not take pride in giving "tips&tricks" classes rather to build toghether a path towards nolt only the understanding of the musical concepts, but towards their discovery. Through the use of Ableton Live I will cover music theory and it's appplication to the digital and analog world, exploring electronic and acoustic music, providing by time to time free tools and subsequent explanaition on how to use them, to build not only an in depth knowledge, but an efficient workflow. Having thaught in universities, it is clear to me that the path to learn cannot be a series of discontinued classes. For that reason I spur you to send me a message and organise up to 60 minutes of consultation, so to craft the ideal path to you. Whether is understanding of music theory ( Which I will refer to during classes as black magic ), or understanding all the steps and knowledge that are needed to start and finish a track. The classes will be on zoom and at the end of it I will provide you the recording of each class so that you can keep track of whatever we did at all times. Including after we will be finished :)

High School Math can be confusing for students. Often there is not enough time in school to repeat the content and practice enough, for the students to gain confidence and a routine in solving mathematical problems.
