I am a second-generation Irish traditional flute and tin whistle player from North West London. Having graduated from Newcastle University's Folk and Traditional music degree with a first class honours, I specialise in Irish traditional flute and tin whistle playing, equipped with rich knowledge, understanding and repertoire from traditions of the British Isles, Scandinavia and Brittany.

I teach students of all ages and abilities, from absolute beginners, who will be taught basic music theory and how to get to grips with their instrument, to advanced players who are looking to nurture their technique and expand their repertory.

Tailoring lesson plans to each individual student, I teach techniques and tunes that are carefully sourced and suited to differing levels of ability. Lessons can be taught either by ear or by notation, or a mixture of both to suit the student. With patience and encouragement, lessons will always be taken at the pace of the student to ensure that the learning experience is as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible.

I have taught piano for 20years on three different continents (North America, Asia, and Europe). During this time I have worked with pupils from many different cultural backgrounds, aged between 4-80, with skills ranging from novice to advance players. I completed my Associateship Teaching Diploma in 2004, from the Royal Conservatory of Music.

I have also taught and tutored rudimentary to advanced theory (harmony) for the past 10 years, for ABRSM exams and undergraduate music courses. All my students pass their ABRSM Grade 5 Theory Exam on their first try.

Lessons tailored according to the student level and future goals.
We will focus mostly on finding your natural sound and explore the possibilities of unique instrument.

I find teaching very rewarding and I deeply enjoy to see the development of the students through the year . Dear Student, You are going to learn in my class, how to play recorder or oboe on high quality. We will discover every secret of my lovely instruments, and I hope you will enjoy it. I will show you how can you practise, and how can you improve your skills, and how can you become a very good recorder or oboe player. For my oboists I'm going to teach how to make reed, as well. I'm waiting for you in my class!!

I specialise in teaching guitar for all levels. Beginners are very welcome. My main aim is to get the students to enjoy playing and from there we can start to get deeper into theory, composition, improvisation and song writing. I also specialise in Brazilian guitar if that is anyone's passion.

I offer piano lessons for all levels.

For beginners: songs, games, improvisation, creation. The links with song and rhythm are very important to have a healthy foundation. The musical notions are approached gradually by experience then by recognition. Reading and writing are brought about by creation and musical composition.

For the more experienced, polyphony and difficult passages can be approached with different tools, by awareness of harmony and melodic modes and polyrhythm. Sometimes it is enough to be aware of simplicity to overcome difficult passages.

I push to go further in the quality of the interpretation with simple means to better understand the music and thus allow more expressiveness and freedom.

I also offer improvisation, harmony,
lessons in musical ensembles, especially vocal polyphony for children, and lessons for specific needs, for example just intonation for singers or other instruments.

Rhythm, melody, harmony, duo play, replay, music listening, ear training, music notation, and sight-reading. You can learn some days, and some others may develop skills over some years. 9 progressive levels of study (sheet music, audio files, theory) are designed by London contemporary scholars. I had the privilege of studying with world-renowned violinist Zakhar Bron, and at the age of 21, I had to completely rework my violin technique. Because I learned it later in life, I can break down the essentials and explain them in a way that’s easy to understand—something most violinists, who learned their technique as young children, often struggle to do. Together, we’ll build the foundations that will allow you to play freely, rather than feeling restricted by technique.

I’m a native French speaker and fluent in both Spanish and English. You can choose the language you’re most comfortable with, so we can focus entirely on making progress with your playing.

Since the age of 8, I have been exploring the world of music, particularly the flute. I took flute lessons at the Niedermeyer Conservatory in Issy Les Moulineaux for 10 years and was a flautist in the junior symphony orchestra for 5 years.

Fascinated by the flute, I participated in music competitions, such as "Prodiges" in Paris, obtaining a distinction (18/20) in 2018. I also participated in a music Masterclass at UDELM (Lions Summer University of Music) in Embrun (Hautes-Alpes - 05 France) in 2016.

I offer flute lessons for all ages and skill levels:
• Beginners: You will learn to control your breathing. I will guide you step by step to produce a sound on the flute and gradually begin playing pieces.
• Intermediate: You will work on pieces adapted to your level. The goal is to refine your technique and reach a more advanced level.
• Advanced: You will develop precision and technique in each piece of music. Explore tempo variations and deepen musical interpretation through nuances.

I organize lessons according to the student's musical desires; with me, there is no doubt, I make sure that learning is fun and exciting.
