I am a passionate character and mascot designer who loves to create cute and imaginative characters and mascots that heal and motivate people under daily pressures which may also transform people's lives with the use of cute therapy. I specialize in kawaii (cute in Japanese), Kodomo( children in Japanese), and Anime. I graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design from Raffles Design Institute Jakarta. I also completed my Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design at Raffles Design Institute Singapore.

Why characters and mascot designs? Characters and mascots make products more interesting when applied which improves a business's brand awareness. They can also be turned into merchandise as gifts to others. Why digital arts? So you can print and apply your digital designs in various media or applications!

In this lesson, you will learn to trace your characters and mascots sketches in Adobe illustrator and turn them into digital art. We can also do some fun projects such as making product mockups in Adobe Photoshop out of your digital characters and mascots/ creatures.

Learn Chinese in a fun way and apply it to your daily life

I am a multidisciplinary artist and designer with fifteen years of experience. I studied art and architecture at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the Columbia University in New York. I teach painting, drawing, digital image and creativity. This class is ideal for beginners but also intermediate students who want to develop their own style.

For my personal projects, I work in a wide range of mediums, from drawing, painting and printmaking to digital image and 3D Printing. When teaching, I prefer to first focus on free-hand drawing and painting as this allows for greater spontaneity regardless of the student's technical level. Would you like to be able to illustrate the worlds and stories you imagine?

Do you want to learn how to create characters for a video game, animation, children's story, comic or in any format? Or would you like to be able to draw your favorite characters?

If you have those concerns, I would love to help you.

I like to focus the classes in such a way that the current drawing level of the student is not what is important. The room for improvement will always evolve. I like to take my classes towards character design, towards general things like the psychology of color and shapes, since they are assimilable and highly useful concepts, independent of the level of drawing. For this reason, my classes are aimed at all ages and drawing levels.

I also try to focus them on the preferences and tastes of each student, showing them that everything they like, they like for a reason, that nothing is left to chance and that they can also understand how to make their drawings reflect what they want to convey. Even to create your portfolios or visual information for your own project or story.

I give private classes with students from different parts of the world, so many of my classes I have been able to do in both English and French.

I studied 2D animation in France, and thanks to this training, my work has been nourished by dynamism, storytelling, expressiveness, typical of this medium, as well as the sensitivity for color and shapes that I usually use to infuse a unique style both to my original designs as well as my fanarts.
