I am a native-English speaker with a degree and a CELTA certificate. I have just spent a year teaching English in Belgium, and was able to form special and lasting relationships with my students there. I specialise in teaching English to older students and adults, from pre-intermediate to upper-intermediate levels. My teaching focuses on contextualising English in a useful way, so that the language can be most successfully used in real life. I keep my lessons entertaining and use lots of student-focused communicative practice. I am also able to offer support with more specific areas such as CVs and written work, proofreading and job interview preparation. I am a friendly, supportive and dedicated teacher :)

I am currently studying for an MA degree in London after successfully teaching English for a year in Belgium, and am looking to find people who want to improve their English skills :)
I am very hard-working and really care about all of my students. I am very flexible and am willing to travel to teach at student's location.
My teacher training focused on using as much communicative practice as possible so that students learn to engage with the language effectively, whilst practicing receptive skills such as listening/reading for gist and specific information. However, depending on the student's goals and requirements, I will work out which methods are best suited for you as an individual learner!
