Actuellement en Master en communication multilingue (français, anglais, allemand) à l'ULB, j'ai obtenu mon diplôme de traductrice à l'ISTI en 2015 et ai donc une très bonne connaissance des trois langues étudiées durant mon bachelier.

My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. I assign homework after every lesson.
Every lesson will be tailored to the specific needs of each student.
I have a degree in languages and have also studied in English.
I have 14 years of experience in teaching languages.

About me:

Spanish and Basque native teacher graduated in English Philology and with five years of experience offers Spanish, English and Basque language lessons (all levels) as well as German language lessons (A1-B1).

During my studies, I specialised on second language acquisition. I am additionally fluent in five languages (English, Spanish, Basque, German and Italian), and speak French at an intermediate level.

I have also worked as a non-formal educator and trainer for three years now, which has granted me with an objective-oriented and organised mindset at the time of structuring my lessons, as well as regard to their pragmatics and emotional intelligence aspects.

All this elements allow me to turn my pedagogical approach in a particularly student-centred one.

Hello everyone and welcome to my English and or German lessons taught in group. I organise English and German lessons for children and teenagers and separately adult English group lessons (beginners to advanced). For children and teenagers, interactive activities are used as a way to motivate them, help them remember what they have learned in class and make sure they will be able to apply their language skills in real life context.
For the adults lessons, depending on what the students are willing to learn, we can have discussions based on the news, some grammar, writing... I am open to any suggestions, just tell me your needs and I am going to adapt the next lessons for you. If you wish to invite your friends and make a group with them, just let me know and I will allocate you a time slot.

For private English lessons, please have a look at my other advertisements. The German lessons are usually for beginners/ intermediate (exceptionally advanced levels in German can be organised only if there is a high-demand).

Hi, I'm Martha. I teach English and German for speakers of other languages. I have taught in primary schools, after-school clubs and privately to children and adults. I obtained an MA at Goldsmiths University of London and am qualified in Creative ESOL at Trinity, Oxford University. I am also a comedian and actress. I use theatre, engaging activities, visual aids and roleplay to make the learning easier and more fluid. Speaking and listening activities that are fun and enjoyable increase both confidence and the desire to express yourself because there is an urgency to participate.
