I am having Swedish lessons with Sebastian now for 2,5 months since I must get to a certain language level for my new job. I was looking around for someone who could support my own learning strategy to accomplish the best result in 4-5 months. I had an extremely hard time finding someone who stood open for this idea, until I spoke with Sebastian. He immediately supported my wishes, knowing that there are different types of learning methods. During the process so far, he encourages me to speak as much Swedish as possible. By using different ways of learning, each lesson so far contained a little surprise that helped me to stay focused. Sebastian is reliable, patient and stays enthusiastic although I can ask difficult questions sometimes. He gives direct feedback on the work I am doing in a nice manner, but he stays also open to feedback on his own teaching methods and skills. This all makes my learning process and experience efficient, keeps me enthusiastic and curious to learn more. In addition, for me it was also important to have flexibility in the planning due to my work schedule. So far, Sebastian has been very flexible. We never had a week that it was not possible to find a date and time that suited both of us. Hiyam is probably the best teacher I have ever had, and I am 49 years old, have a Masters degree in Physics and can speak 4 languages, so have been learning all my life. After only 2 lessons, it is obvious that she is engaging, fun, and has immense knowledge about Arabic language as well as of learning methodologies. What's even better, she adapts her teaching methods to the student, so that he or she can find their way around the complexities of learning one of the hardest languages in the world. 💯% recommend for all and any levels. Just one condition: because she is mother of 4 children and has a full time job as teacher in a school, she can't waste time in the awful traffic of Riyadh, such a big city with probably the worse traffic jams in the middle east, so she won't commute for you. You must go to her, or do it online. It's totally worth it.

I take semi-intensive classes with Amel (three times a week) to learn Fusha Arabic and I enjoy it very, very much! Amel has a clear methodology that includes reading, writing, and oral comprehension skills. She also renders grammar somewhat fascinating by giving background knowledge on linguistic and sometimes philosophical structures. Regarding vocabulary, she also points out differences between Fusha and Tunisian derija, which is very helpful. I highly recommend and always look forward to my next class! Thank you, Amel!!!
