About Me

Hello! I am Ward a law student at the KULeuven.
At the moment I have been tutoring mathematics, geography, English, Dutch and economics for a year and a half.
But also technological / IT subjects, such as Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
In my spare time I am also a Chiro leader, so I always get along well with young people, which gives me an advantage in tutoring.

Through these sessions I try to teach the student in question in a positive way how he / she can work with the different Microsoft applications.
I have been tutoring both students (privately or in groups) and companies for 4 years now.

The Microsoft Office package has many useful and important functions, but these are sometimes quite complicated. I myself am very well trained in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
For the Excel part I had 2 years of lessons and 3 years of self-study.

I teach both beginners and people who already have a certain basic knowledge, group lessons are also possible and I am also open to companies!

In addition, I also provide a self-made tutoring course that can be used by the student during and after classes. I made these with the aim of explaining certain aspects in Excel step by step with a lot of images and examples, which makes processing even so easy.

- What do the lessons entail?
The tutoring focuses on mathematics in secondary education. I help students understand both the theory and its practical application in exercises. If necessary, I provide additional study materials, such as diagrams, summaries, or resources, to clarify the material.

- My approach
I would appreciate receiving an overview of the study material, tests, or assignments in advance that present difficulties. This allows me to properly prepare the lessons and focus on the student's specific needs. This also allows me to better assess the level.

- Why do I tutor?
Mathematics has always been a great passion of mine. Although my current studies no longer revolve around it, I still enjoy pursuing it. Tutoring is therefore an ideal combination of hobby and extra income for me. Naturally, I always work in a professional and structured manner.

- Who am I?
My name is Arina, I'm 26 years old and I study law. I live and study in Leuven, where I also live in student housing.
