With me, you can work on classic percussion instruments (marimba, vibraphone, snare drum, multi-percussion) as well as drums. We will see how we can combine the two and create links between them. I will try to offer visual and auditory resources so that the person has fun and progresses at the same time. It will be a question of understanding technique and theory as a means serving an artistic and musical end. Adapted to each person’s level, goals and time. Drums form the rhythmic foundation of any modern musical style. Polyrhythms, grooves, breaks, fills, all this jargon is part of the tools and techniques developed through the practice of this instrument. The most important thing, however, is to have fun. A few basics are already enough to start having fun! I always listen and adapt the program to the student's wishes and objectives. Whether it's to refine your technique, discover styles, or just exercise once a week, the drums are a versatile and quick to learn instrument. Basic music theory can also be taught if necessary. About me: I started classical percussion in Geneva, at the Conservatoire populaire, at 9 years old, and continued until obtaining my certificate (with honors) in 2015. At the same time, I started playing drums at 15 years old. I immediately fell in love with this instrument, and I never stopped. I trained in jazz, but have played in many projects with varied styles since I was 18.

EN : Playing drums since the age of 7, I am ready to give drum lessons at all levels. I can also teach rhythmic music theory in parallel so as not to force the student to follow classical music theory lessons, which are not entirely relevant for percussion. EN: Drumming since the age of 7, I am capable of teaching drum lessons at any level. Additionally, I can provide instruction in rhythmic theory to complement the lessons, avoiding the necessity of traditional music theory which may not be as relevant for percussion instruments. *Repetition due to the original posts being written in two languages*

If you've been eager to get better in drums and therefore studying all its different styles and genres, I definitely can help you with that! Particularly, I've studied in deep Tony Williams' and Elvin Jones' playing and the main drummers of the jazz era from the 50s to the 70s , so if you really want to improve that kind of vision and sound I can give you some great hints such as transcriptions, analysis, sound strategies and many video materials. Also, I am specialized in Funk/Hip-Hop music and that kind of groovy world. So, I've been mastering a specific approach to this genre as well. About me: I've been playing drums since I was 6. I got my Master Degree in 2022 at Salerno Music Conservatory (Italy) in Jazz Drums and Percussion. I've been doing the role of Assistant Professor at KCB with Stéphane Galland since 2023. Since I moved to Belgium I had to chance to collaborate and sharing the stage at the moment with Manou Gallo, Zap MAMA, Stephane Mercier, David Linx and various others.
