Private lessons in maths and physics by a civil engineer from ULB
I first identify which points are problematic in order to increase the efficiency of the courses. Then, depending on the student's requests and difficulties, I re-explain certain poorly understood theoretical concepts and solve exercises with him. For the theory, I make sure to explain the material as I would have liked to have been explained to me during my studies and I review the points of the course from new angles in order to facilitate understanding. For the exercises, I first let the student suggest his method of solving because each problem can be approached in several ways and it is much more productive to start from the student's ideas. I favor understanding by heart because I consider that memorization is only rarely necessary in math and science. Once the material is perfectly assimilated, we retain it much longer than if we study it without understanding it. My engineering studies allowed me to better link the abstract concepts of mathematics and science to concrete problems. If the student needs it, I can therefore easily give many visual and intuitive examples in order to speed up understanding. What I offer: - A broad theoretical background: solid knowledge in mathematics (algebra, analysis, trigonometry and geometry) and an advanced understanding in physics and chemistry (rational mechanics, materials science, fluid mechanics, ...). - Didactic, interactive and personalized courses. - The pleasure of sharing my knowledge and ease in transmitting knowledge.

Tutoring in math, physics, secondary/higher level programming
Personalized teaching according to the needs and requests of the student. During the first contact, we will establish together the objectives of the course, and will review the material already covered in order to identify the points to be deepened. My teaching method includes a lot of metaphors and real life examples in order to give the student some intuition of the material, which allows to put the theory in its context and therefore to understand it more easily. My courses are aimed at all secondary or higher education students, with a preference for subjects ranging from secondary 4 to the end of the bachelor's degree.

Mathematics, Physics in all level and test preporation
I am a physicist and currently studying in the VUB Master Physics and Astronomy course. I already have a basic degree as a theory physicist. I have been working as a private teacher since 2017, so I have many working experience with students. Furthermore, I prepared students from elementary school across high school to University exams. It is not just a job for me, it is a lifestyle. I love to see students how they realize how to solve a problem which they thought they could not understand ever before with a bit of my helping and explanations. I can help you basic/ elementary math, high school math (logarithm, sin/cos etc.) and University math (integration, derivation, vector analyze, different equations etc.). And of course, I can help you in physics.

Private lessons in maths / physics / chemistry primary to university level
Mathematics, physics and chemistry are subjects requiring rigor and concentration. It is sometimes difficult to follow in class, and these subjects sometimes attract too much interest from students. I offer to help you fill in the gaps, understand the material and prepare for your exams and tests, from primary level to university bachelor's degree. I approach the subject particularly under the method of work and the resolution of exercises. I help to adopt a logical and rigorous reasoning adapted to mathematics and physics. I can also make brief theoretical reminders in the form of cards if the student wishes. Sometimes these subjects seem boring, but it's not and when you understand how it works, and how our world is governed by math and physics, that's where the passion begins! I am currently a doctoral student in quantum physics at UCLouvain. I graduated as a civil engineer and gave many private lessons during my studies and after. I also gave courses as an assistant at the Catholic University of Louvain. Through my scientific studies and my passions, I specialized in everything related to physics, chemistry and mathematics.

Classes in Spanish and English: Math, Chemistry and Physics
I offer science subjects classes for middle school and high school students. I already have experience and work well with teenagers and children of all ages. I studied the first courses of the degree in physics, which gives me enough knowledge to defend classes offered in high school or lower.

Math and Science courses tailored to your needs
I always aim to adapt my working method to everyone's needs - my objective is to identify the student's strengths and use them to consolidate his knowledge and tackle the particular goal - and it is a work of 'team! I attach great importance to the specific examples demonstrating each concept studied and coming from real fields - practical work makes it possible to strengthen one's knowledge more than anything! I suggest you start by taking a little time together to set our goal and develop a good plan of attack in the time available to us - do not hesitate to contact me for more information!

Engineer with 9 years of experience in private lessons in mathematics, physics and English.
If you or your child is having difficulty in math, physics or chemistry, I am here to help; I started teaching almost ten years ago, during which time I helped over forty students succeed in their studies. A first class is first organized, during which I make a first contact with the student in order to gauge his abilities and difficulties, as well as take the time to introduce himself and get to know himself a little. On the basis of this first contact, I create a work program for the courses to follow, during which we will alternate between theory and exercises in order to accustom the student to the subject. In addition to the lessons, I am available at any time by phone in case the student has any questions or difficulties. I am not your teacher only in class, but also outside with constant monitoring! The courses are available in French, and in English. I hope to see you soon !

My extensive teaching experience covers a wide range of engineering courses, including: - Mathematics: algebra, linear algebra, probability, calculus, differential equations, intellectual math, and advanced engineering mathematics. - Mechanical Engineering: Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical design, control, vibration, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Engineering drawing, Applied Mechanics, Composite Structures, Flight, Machine Elements, Manufacturing, 3D printing, and more. - Physics: mechanics, momentum and energy, electricity, charge and current, electric and magnetic fields, waves, particle physics, nuclear decay, astrophysics, cosmology, oscillations, etc. - CAD/CAM Software: Autocad, Solidworks. - Mechanical Design Packages: ANSYS, APDL programming, ABAQUS, MATLAB, Symbolic MATLAB, LS-DYNA. My research and teaching interests are diverse, including: • Additive manufacturing • Mechanical metamaterials • Acoustical metamaterials • Electromagnetic metamaterials • Aeroacoustics • Soft matter and soft robotics • Fatigue and fracture mechanics • Experimental mechanics • Multiscale numerical modelling • Biomaterials • Porous materials • Manufacturing of medical devices and implants • Deep learning • Image processing • Topology optimization • Origami and Kirigami structures • Self-folding and self-assembly structures • Tissue engineering • Permeability in porous materials • Fluid-Solid Interaction I understand that not all teachers excel in teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and explaining their importance to students. Courses with strong mathematical backgrounds may become boring for students who lack a solid mathematical basis. To address this, I take a student-centered approach, starting from the basics to actively engage all students, including those with weaker mathematical backgrounds. I also provide practical examples to demonstrate the real-world significance of what they are learning, inspiring and fostering their interest in the subject matter. If you have any additional questions before starting a class, please feel free to ask me. I am here to assist! :)
