Trusted teacher: Maths is a subject which is often hated by many people as it is viewed as 'difficult' to understand. However, understanding Maths is not as hard as it may seem and can be an amazing achievement for many. Even now when I finally understand a mathematical concept I feel a huge sense of achievement! I pride myself on being a very personable tutor, connecting with my students personality-wise. All my students have said they feel comfortable and calm around me, which is something I believe significantly helps them achieve their goals! They know that even if they get an answer wrong, with me, it's okay because we'll work on it together in the best, most efficient way possible. Aside from Maths, I love to travel, sing, dance, read self-improvement books and invest! I am passionate about teaching young people about investing, since I think it is an important concept to understand and not gate-keep. All lessons are based on previous classes and what you personally feel you need to work on in that particular lesson. We'll also go through exam papers from the very beginning, so you know what's ahead. Everything is well prepared and well thought of to ensure you get the most out of each and every session. Trusted teacher: Spanish classes for foreigners, also Spanish language reinforcement classes for Spanish speakers. Learning Spanish can be easy and fun with the right method for you, you don't need your Spanish teacher to know your native language, you just have to relax and learn to speak again, like when you were a baby. Nowadays there are many language teaching methods that guarantee this. I propose classes that adapt to your linguistic needs, in what situations you need Spanish, with what urgency, for what objectives do you approach this language? Furthermore, my double training in Hispanic philology and dramatic art gives me the possibility of implementing dynamics and exercises where through the body, roll-play, songs, images, etc., teaching becomes more autonomous, enjoyable and effective. Finally, being Spanish and having lived more than 8 years in Latin America gives me the possibility of being able to teach both modalities of Spanish, if you need to learn Latin Spanish or peninsular Spanish, I can teach you both. English presentation I have a degree in Spanish Philology (2005), a degree in Dramatic Art, Textual Interpretation in ESAD (2009) and a Teacher Training Course for Teachers of Spanish as an L2 (Universidad de Sevilla-Cervantes Institute, 2007). My previous studies gave me enough qualifications to teach and understand the process of learning a language and the possibility to teach it with new skills, original strategies and creative performances. My effective leadership skills, my experience as an actress and the ability to connect with students make me a perfect candidate for this role, a Spanish teacher. My experience as an English and theater Teacher in a remote education setting has prepared me well to apply as a candidate for the role of remote livestreamers or online teacher. Trusted teacher: Math lessons: Support + Coaching + Methodology = SUCCESS 🚀✨ What if we gave more meaning to mathematics 😉? The loss of meaning (or even logic) and interest, the feeling of feeling overwhelmed and discouraged by the lessons... it's a feeling that many people have experienced when learning math! My own experience of these difficulties made me want to help learners find pleasure in their study journey. After obtaining an engineering degree, life led me to question the learning process itself. I then became passionate about neuroscience (in addition to personal development in general) and have helped more than 50 students at home and online in recent years. 🌻 Why choose my support? - My experience as a student: it is easier to put yourself in the shoes of a student who has difficulties when you can say “I've been there”. Indeed, it is my student journey that allowed me to understand the challenges of learning and how to get out of it! - An adapted approach: thanks to my sensitivity for psychology and my experience in tutoring, I know how to adapt to the person in front of me. Depending on his emotions/beliefs or his personality, I adapt my speech, the objectives and the organization of the lessons. - A knowledge of the functioning of the brain: Self-taught and passionate about neuroscience, I support learners on scientifically validated techniques and I bring understanding to our learning processes. - Certification in neuroscience: By 2024, I will be certified as a practitioner in neuroscience by Dr. Mario BEAUREGARD, Canadian neuroscientist emeritus. Through my support, I accompany the learners before and AFTER the lessons. Although the lesson time is important, the before/after is just as important. So I set up monitoring and support tools. Technology is good 🙂 - Schedule flexibility: In general, face-to-face courses do not allow you to choose a “last-minute” course. I offer my students slots every day between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. (French time). This gives them time to settle down after the study day before resuming homework/classes or even to have a class before a surprise quiz the next day! 🌻 Why teaching? I need to feel useful. Through teaching, I help students of all ages regain confidence and better understand themselves in order to perform and have fun. From my experience, I like to transmit what I would have liked to have on my way. 🌻 My study background After a Scientific Baccalaureate in France (CEGEP for Quebec), I turned to a Preparatory Class for the Grandes Ecoles (CPGE also called Maths sup/Maths spé). Over these 2 years, the school level required a square organization to pass the entrance exams to engineering school. This is when my thoughts on methodology began. I then obtained an engineering degree in France in Industrial Engineering. Homeschooling allowed me to make ends meet during my studies. I then established my practice and my own teaching methodology before leaving for Canada in September 2021 and making this dream come true! 🌻 My favorite mantra? “Be the change you want to see in the world” by our dear Gandhi 🙂 🌻 My favorite subject? Functions ; because we can juggle with many other mathematics chapters and subjects Methodology ; whether it is providing the student with relevant support or proposing innovative ideas so that he or she takes pleasure in studying! 🌻 How classes work - My lessons are based on 3 points: Adaptation, Follow-up and Pleasure - We make a first call to get an idea of the objectives, the challenges, the learning context - The first lesson is used to understand each other, to create an atmosphere where the student will feel confident to express their difficulties/emotions. Depending on the subject, I do a first test on the basics of mathematics. - Secondly, I create your digital collaboration space and we plan a first action plan with the next courses. (With some exceptions, I always give exercises to rework what has been seen together) - I can be reached every day of the week for questions and advice - Have access to: Whatsapp, Google Drive and Google Meet 🌻 Class schedule Currently in Canada, I am available from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. (French time)!
