Basgitaarlessen met een holistieke, "all-round" character.
We gaan op de lessen samen oefenen en we gaan hier jouw allerliefste liedjes voor gebruiken. Ik geloof dat als je met een stuk muziek diepe emotionele contact hebt, wordt de leerproces ook sneller, gezelliger en vloeiender!
Onze belangrijkste thema's:
- techniek en overzicht van de bas (waar?)
- algemene muziekleer, gehoortraining (waarom?)
- creatieve improvisatie en compositie (wat?)
- ritme, tempo, frasering en gevoel (hoe?)
Voor volwassenen en tieners duren de lessen 1 uur. Voor alle niveaus vanaf absoluut beginner tot conservatorium niveau.

Dear Prospective Student,
My teaching practice came about as a form of practice and self-development about a decade ago. After relocating to the Netherlands and finishing my second BA in Jazz Bassguitar at the Amsterdam Conservatory, step-by-step I worked out my own method based on my experiences as a performer of popular, progressive and jazz music, feedback from my most loyal students and observing my favourite music teachers both in person and online. I like to keep my exercises interactive and up-to-date!
The special feature of my lessons is that they are 100% tailored to the student's own music taste, learning style and level of experience - I firmly believe that a deep emotional connection with the material being studied makes learning more fun and much easier!
Aside from the essential ear training and technique exercises I urge everyone to explore their creativity (building their own grooves, learning about songwriting or playing improvisation games) and deepen their very own musical taste.
- It is a holistic approach, but with an eye for little details. -
