I am a native English language speaker and a CELTA (Cambridge University) qualified English language trainer. I have been teaching English since 2012 in Luxembourg. I've recently relocated to Amsterdam. I teach 3 to 75 year olds to improve their conversational or business English and also help students prepare for school and IELTS exams.

I specialise in teaching 8-16 year olds by teaching them grammar through fun and unconventional methods in order to strengthen their language basics. I invest a lot of time in creating interesting lesson-plans using situational role-plays, interesting teaching tools (video podcasts, memory games, newspaper articles, flashcards etc.) in an environment relevant to the lesson. I offer flexible timings at a mutually convenient location. I can teach one-on-one, groups or through Skype.

Teaching is all about learning and that is what keeps me going. I truly believe that everyone has their own learning style and each individual learns at their own pace.

Previously, I completed a Masters (MA) in Business Economics and a Masters (MA) in International Pubic Relations from UK.

In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. It is my belief that language is for people of every age and education, but I'm aware that everyone deserves a personal approach. In the first session, we always do a needs analysis and become acquainted, to make sure we click as people and will enjoy working away at your personal language goals.

Over the years, my classes, have proven to raise the confidence levels of students. We practice knowledge in English, on 4 levels of proficiency: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing.
