Even if you are a total beginner looking to enter the magical world of music or if you want to improve your violin technique and develop your artistic potential, let's achieve your goals together, always with a smile, making this experience a joyful, vibrant and stimulating one. My teaching style is a mix of the Russian violin school and a fresh modern musical pedagogy approach. Individual lessons plan for each student, according to your specific level, goals, and expectations. Studying the violin can have interesting side-effects of personal development and usually helps to: 1. Establish a deeper relationship with music: being "in music" 2. Become more curious and competitive users: expanding an aesthetic sensitivity, widening the field of one's musical interests, refining the artistic taste 3. Express oneself (identity, relationship with one's emotions, self-narration) 4. Consolidate self-esteem by experiencing your limits 5. Build self-discipline, developing self-organization skills and a sense of responsibility 6. Learn to respect collective rules, integrate and collaborate with others in harmony, like in an orchestra. 7. Develop attention and concentration activities 8. Compose experiences of integration between mind and body, between affectivity, logic, and sensoriality 9. Refine perceptual and psychomotor skills (coordination, proprioception, body observation) 10. Develop analytical and cognitive skills 11. Develop expressive and creative attitudes

I am a classical violist studying in the Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” Berlin, with Prof. Tabea Zimmermann. I have huge passion on teaching, I want to share all my knowledge, techniques and experience from my last 16 years of playing the Viola (& Violin) to different people. For me, teaching is always a two-way activity, students and teacher exchange, discuss their thoughts together, and we learn and grow together, that’s the only, and the best way to learn music. In my class, I will base on your playing level, and set a certain program including basic practices and repertoire. If your interest in on classical music, then I will set a program for a classical way of training. If you are willing to learn pop music playing, I will also give you another set of program to learn. I am looking for students who are really interested in music, and willing to learn by themselves, with their passion. If you think you are, then I’m looking very much forward to seeing you, and working with you together!;) Best regards, Gordon

My name is Daniela, and I am a cross-over violist from Costa Rica. I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 to pursue my studies at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music (Viola). I am currently continuing my journey at Codarts with a Master's degree in Latin Music. During my time in the Netherlands, I have been part of a wide range of musical projects across different genres — from classical orchestras and chamber music to pop, jazz, and world music collaborations. I've performed with ensembles such as the Jong Metropole and recorded with various pop, jazz, and fusion bands. I am also the bandleader of my own Latin project, La Reunión, and work as a freelance musician with diverse musical groups. Before moving to the Netherlands, I studied Music Education at the University of Costa Rica and worked for several years as a private teacher. I have experience teaching violin and viola to both children and adults. As a teacher, I am kind and patient. I believe in the value of consistent, focused work and in helping students grow step by step. I aim to make the learning process feel easy and fun!

Hello ! My name is Camille, I'm 26 years old and I grew up in France, where I completed my violin training with soloist Marie Cantagrill. I then obtained my Bachelor's degree at the University of Arts in Graz (Austria), and I also studied for a year at the Academy of Music in Krakow with Professor Wojciech Koprowski. Currently, I am continuing my studies in violin pedagogy (IGP – instrumental and vocal pedagogy) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW). Thanks to my experience with teachers from various countries, I have acquired a lot of knowledge in pedagogy, study techniques, musicality, etc., which I would love to share with you! For me, it is essential to cultivate the pleasure of playing and to work on technique in the service of music. Courses can be given in French, German or English, depending on your preferences. I offer lessons at my home (equipped with an electric piano, music stand, etc.) or I can also travel to you, depending on the distance. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any questions or additional information. See you soon ! Camille

This violin course is designed for beginners and intermediate students, and aims to develop the essential technical and musical skills for playing smoothly and expressively. The program includes learning the fundamentals of violin playing, such as correct posture, grip, and producing a clear tone. You'll work on scales and arpeggios to develop your dexterity, as well as bowing techniques to master different stroke patterns. Sheet music reading, musical analysis, and music theory practice are integrated into the course to strengthen your theoretical knowledge and music-reading skills. Alongside this, you'll explore a diverse repertoire, ranging from classical works to more contemporary pieces, and will have the opportunity to work in a group to improve your listening and coordination with other musicians. The course also includes personalized guidance to structure your practice and prepare you for performances, with an emphasis on musical expression and managing stage fright. My approach aims to make each student independent and to encourage their musical development in a caring and motivating environment.
