Über mich

My lessons will be totally based on communicative approaches, learn the language through speaking. The key of the lessons will be that students are going to use the language as much as possible with materials that are totallly based on real life situations and tasks.
For sure we are going to have fun learning the language and I will do it in a motivational way to make the learning more pleasurable.

I got a university degree in Primary teaching education with a mention in English language. I did an internship at one school during 4 months with students of 5th of Primary. I also got a High school teaching related with sports and physical activities and I have some experience working with disabled people.

My average during my university degree was a 7.5. I got a certificate related to inclusive education and another one related to motivational strategies when learning a language.

My goal is to teach younger children/students the correct way of the English language. I have had precious experience with tutoring while I lived in Germany. During my time in tutoring,I learnt that children tend to learn faster and easier when enjoying a lesson. I therefore try to keep my lessons fun and exciting but of course, effective. My lessons included tasks like word puzzles, role play, quizzes etc. I provide worksheets, but I am open to helping out with homework they received from school or anything they are having problems with. At the end of every few lessons, I like to give a small exam on what was learnt the past few hours. Just to see what can be improved or What has already become a plus.

This class will have an informal approach to learning the language, adapted to each students' needs and preferences. A diversity of materials will be provided, as well as online resources, all depending on the age of the student. As a German speaker with a C1 level, I am aware of the cultural implications of the language, even though I am not an expert in it, of course. I aim to make every class a fruitful and efficient learning process for the student, but also for me.

I specialize in tutoring English and German grammar as well as pronunciation. I keep track of a level of progress and make sure my students get their personalized material as well as the support they need from me. I assign homework if needed / requested and will make sure my students get a fitting program to increase their language level as efficiently as possible. I am a very talkative and open-minded person and enjoy tutoring, challenging and guiding people along their journey.

He estado enseñando a adolescentes y adultos, en privado y en grupos, durante más de seis años. Tengo un enfoque dinámico e interactivo, con materiales interesantes y útiles. My name is Anastasia, I come from Greece and I am currently based in Rotterdam. Holding a Bachelor degree in Ancient and Modern Greek Philology and History, I can help you learn and practise the language. The structure of the lesson varies taking into account each student' s specific linguistic expectations and needs. The lessons include learning of grammar and vocabulary, and practising of reading, speaking and writing texts. In accordance with the wants and interests of each student the content of the lesson and the material provided can be connected with Greek culture, society and history too. The course is open to beginners, intermediate, advanced, academic and business.

Do you want to learn German from a native?

I can teach you German depending on your needs. Wether you want to practice your grammar or speech and conversational skills (or all) is up to you. At first we would determine your level and wishes, from then on I will teach you with my study material and we will practice together. I have build my study material while living abroad in Spain. There I had students from all ages that I thought German to. I always try to incorporate creativity and fun into my lessons. Homework is also a recommended part of the lessons.

The classes can be held in person in Rotterdam or online!

Als gediplomeerd docent Duits en Nederlands heb ik ruime ervaring en prima resultaten met het geven van (bij)lessen aan jongeren, volwassenen en senioren, zowel individueel als klassikaal.

De bijlessen sluiten altijd aan op jouw wensen. Dat kan variëren van huiswerkbegeleiding tot assistentie bij ontleden, uitspraak, lees-, spreek - en schrijfvaardigheid, spelling en grammatica. Aansluiting op de leermethoden van school (boeken, oefeningen, huiswerk) of thema's uit jouw werkkring zijn daarbij handig.

Ik ben zeer flexibel in tijd en kan overdag, 's avonds of in het weekend. De lessen vinden plaats bij mij thuis in Voorburg of bij jou in de directe omgeving van Voorburg. Indien je dat wilt kunnen de lesuren (klokuren) worden verlengd naar bijvoorbeeld anderhalf uur per keer, wat vooral handiger is bij een langere reistijd. Voor tussentijdse vragen ben ik natuurlijk bereikbaar.

This is individual Japanese/Japanese language instruction for primary and secondary school students whose native language is Japanese or who are growing up in a bilingual environment.
By reading aloud a variety of texts and writing compositions, students will gradually improve their Japanese skills.

It is an irreplaceable experience. I would like to use my experience living in Europe as a child and my university studies as a returnee in Japan, and help them learn Japanese together so that they can develop Japanese as an important language for them.
