About Me

Sebastián is a Colombian guitarist passionate about performance, composition, and exploring new sounds. Trained at the University of Antioquia under Fabio Arboleda and Bernardo Cardona, he is currently pursuing a Master's degree at the Royal Conservatory of Mons (Belgium), where he is furthering his artistic research with Magali Rischette and Vincent Dùbes.

His musical sensibility blends classical guitar tradition, Latin American popular music, and contemporary composition. He comes from a family of luthiers and musicians.

Born into a family of luthiers and musicians, he has always been immersed in this world. It is by drawing on this heritage that he finds his inspiration, particularly with the tiple, the guitar, and the charango, which he showcases as a performer. Whether performing solo, in chamber music ensembles, or in more diverse projects, he also explores how to integrate technology into musical creation, and how artificial intelligence and human composition can intertwine.
