About Me
My name is Yalçın Hasançebi. I am a classical guitar teacher, jazz musician (guitar and bass), jazz composer and pedagogue. I have taught guitar at school (Collège du Léman) and privately while developing my music career.
I have been teaching classical guitar, bass, jazz and rock guitar to adults and children for over 20 years. I have experience in preparing child students for the ABRSM exam.
By combining my teaching career with my professional development as a jazz musician, I also try to motivate students to acquire comprehensive knowledge not only about the development of classical but also modern music. I believe that with my ability to create a positive and joyful learning environment, my language skills (I have full command of English and German, Turkish being my mother tongue), my ability to build friendly and open relationships with students, their parents, my understanding of cultural differences and, most importantly, my genuine motivation and interest in music education, I can help you achieve the desired results and have a lot of fun learning to play the guitar.

Education
Master's degree from Bahcesehir University, Faculty of Jazz. I developed my own playing skills by taking guitar lessons from top Turkish and international guitarists.
Experience / Qualifications
20 years of teaching experience at music school and university level (CK Music and Pianist Music School, BAU), teaching children (5-6 years) and adults. Guitar teacher at the Collège du Léman for individual and ensemble lessons.
