For our classes, we will focus on developing your ability to speak and write clearly and effectively. I work as an English lawyer. I am not a qualified English teacher, but teaching English is a side hobby for me. My classes are therefore targeted at students who already have an intermediate or advanced level of English, and wish to improve further by practising how to write/speak in a clear and effective manner.
I am a very patient and energetic teacher. When I was younger, I used to coach kids at gymnastics too!

Education

I studied law at University College London and graduated in 2019. Before that, I grew up in Singapore, where English is one of the country's 4 official languages.

I am now studying American English studies as I have a taste for the language. English and French were my main subjects in my Abitur, where I each completed a C3 degree. That's why I know exactly how to prepare for such subjects. In the first few hours we systematically check the student's weaknesses and work on them strategically.

Thanks to my major and experiences, I have taught Chinese and English in a private coaching form for more than 3 years. I have also obtained a Putonghua proficiency certificate (Level 2-A), and two master’s degrees in Education from both VUB in Belgium and Tongji university in China.
As for the teaching method, basically, I follow the ADDIE model in the teaching process which are Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. However, no pressure on that!
