Concert pianist Ksenia laureate of several piano competitions, graduate of 5 Conservatories of Moscow, Salzburg, Paris, Brussels and Mons. Formerly guest professor at the Conservatory of Ghent (piano accompaniment). Piano lessons in Ghent (Ghentbrugge) for children and adults. Classical and light music. Lessons take place in my studio on a Steinway grand piano. Special program for children from 4 years. The child begins to play songs from the first lesson. In the first months we concentrate on the development of the musical ear, creative imagination, concentration and attitude. For the posture I work with a unique family method (experience of three generations of pianists with excellent results). The pianistic development is further combined with solfège. After 1 year, the child can read scores, and always with pleasure! Adult amateurs I give tailor-made lessons. Together with you we determine your level and set the goals. In the lessons, much attention is paid to the technical aspects of piano playing. I will give you exact instructions for studying independently at home, also fully customized. You will get the best practices proven by my 27 years of experience with the piano. After 2 years, the beginners can count on an enormous repertoire, good knowledge of solfège and a lot of self-confidence. Adult amateurs who graduated from the music academy in the past can count on evaluation to a semi-professional level after 2 years.

I have been a cellist for years and gained a lot of experience over the years. I am a replacement for the Philharmonic, the National Orchestra of Belgium and the Symphony Orchestra of Flanders. I am also a regular cellist in various projectors and I play in St.Grandson, a band that won the new generation last year. By building this experience, I now feel strong enough to teach people. If you are interested, learn how to play cello or piano or rather just get music lessons (solfège), do not hesitate to contact me! See you soon!

Many might be thinking piano is a difficult instrument. I had learned piano since 4 years old, and i had achieved Grade 8 (trinity certificate). however, i had never enjoyed until the age of 16 years old, so i understood what could be the obstacles. Now i am 40 years old and do enjoy playing it intensely for many years. I had taught adults and children piano for almost 6 years and they had reported successful and satisfying experiences with me. You can decide what you want to learn, theories, note reading, or jump into songs learning through variation of Chords.

The rule is simple: don't be afraid to make a fool of yourself! Students are encouraged to try, fail, and overall be proactive in learning new information in bite-sized chunks: all of that in a warm and comforting environment. Depending on the personal goal of the student, we will learn/refine/explore the following topics: - Fundamental techniques of playing piano - How to read and play chords - How to play an improvised solo - How to change the underlying harmonies of a song to make it sound cooler (or weirder!) - Understanding how the musical elements are glued in a song, and if you dare, how to write one yourself - How to learn music or play music by ear - Exploring piano-looking-like instruments such as electric keyboards and subtractive synthesizers Languages: English (fluent), German (B1 and improving), Korean (native)
