At the same time I am a practising photographic artist with an interest in abstract photography. I have a comprehensive understanding of contemporary photographic practices and of theoretical approaches to the subject, and also have a strong technical grounding both in traditional and in digital processes. I am experienced in all stages of the development of photographic projects, from early conceptualisation through to printing and exhibiting.I have exhibited nationally and internationally in both solo and group shows. My selection for the Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2008 Exhibition in Liverpool and London is one highlight among them. As an artist and teacher I insist on the highest professional standards and I emphasise clear and direct communication and honesty throughout. I have been teaching photography since 2009. I offer private lessons to photography students and any other individuals who would be interested in 'how to'/technical skills sessions or in developing a photographic body of work and would be in need for some expert advice. Juliana is a fantastic teacher, whose experience, knowledge, understanding and patience creates the perfect atmosphere for improving one’s language skills at all levels. Juliana’s flexibility and adaptation to – the sometimes hectic - availability of students is also very rare and exemplary. Fawzi is friendly with an approachable manner. He is quick to understand your level of French and what needs to be achieved. He explains French very well and makes you feel comfortable even if you are inexperienced and looks for the positives in your approach to learning. I am happy with our training schedule so far and I hope to develop and gain confidence in my pronunciation of French and speaking.

Michael is an excellent chess teacher, I couldn't recommend him more! I've just had one lesson so far but hope to do more. He was extremely patient (I was really slow) and explained everything very clearly.
