Trusted teacher: I am a graduate of École Centrale de Nantes, one of France's top engineering schools, with a deep passion for mathematics. My goal is to help you move beyond memorization and truly understand the logic and beauty behind mathematical concepts. Depending on your preference, I offer one-on-one tutoring for personalized monitoring, or small group sessions for a collaborative dynamic. I - My Teaching Methodology Our first session will begin with an initial assessment to evaluate your current level. This diagnostic serves as a baseline to objectively measure your progress over time. We will also discuss your goals and objectives to help me adapt my teaching strategy accordingly. The following sessions will usually go like this : 1. Review and Consolidation : If needed, we start by reviewing essential prerequisites. This crucial step allows us to identify and fill any gaps, ensuring you can approach the topics at hand with confidence. 2. Recap and Overview : I kick-off each session with a quick review of the previous one to ensure continuity. Then, I outline the key topics for the day, explaining how they fit into the bigger pitcture of the course. 3. The Concept Behind the Formula : For each new topic, I like to tell its full story : from its origins and the great minds behind it, to its evolution into the concept it has become today. This cultural perspective makes mathematics more engaging, vibrant and fascinating. 4. From Practice to Theory : I systematically illustrate concepts with concrete examples, often drawn from real life or physics, to make them less abstract and more relatable. We then move on to exercises of increasing difficulty : from direct applications to solidify the basics, to more thought-provoking problems that teach you to use the right tools at the right time, and finally, to complex challenges that stimulate your problem-solving skills. 5. Summary and Outlook : Each session concludes with a summary of the topics covered and a preview of the next session’s agenda. After each class, I provide a practical summary handout to facilitate your lesson review. I can also assign practice exercises for homework when deemed necessary or upon request. To track your progress, regular evaluations are scheduled. Furthermore, your feedback is invaluable : I actively seek it to continuously improve my teaching. II - What Sets My Tutoring Apart : To offer more than a standard tutoring session, I integrate special modules into most lessons, focusing on the following areas : 1. The Art of Proof : Mathematics is a structure built on proof. I dedicate part of our sessions to teaching different types of reasoning (e.g., proof by contradiction, induction), the structure and syntax of theorems, propositions, and lemmas, and how to construct a rigorous demonstration. We will analyze existing proofs to extract key ideas that you can adapt and reuse in your own work. 2. Oral Presentation and Synthesis Skills : I will teach you how to present an idea or a proof in front of a group of people with clarity and confidence, and how to overcome stage fright. I will also encourage you to research mathematical topics and present them to small groups to develop your synthesis and critical thinking skills. You will, of course, be guided throughout this process. For students in preparatory classes (CPGE), this module is designed to prepare you for oral exams and TIPE. III - For the Most Curious Amongst You : I offer unique, specialized sessions to help you develop skills that will set you apart from your peers, giving you a real advantage in your future academic and professional pursuits : 1. Mathematics and Programming : Discover the power of computing with Python programming courses applied to mathematics. 2. Scientific Writing with LaTeX : Learn to create clean, professional mathematical documents using the standard language of the scientific world. 3. Beyond the Curriculum : For those interested, we can explore fascinating mathematical concepts that are not typically covered at your level. 4. Olympiad Preparation : I offer targeted training for regional and international mathematics Olympiads. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your goals. The first session is often a great opportunity to get acquainted and create a plan of action that will lead you to success.

Trusted teacher: Middle/High School/Post-Bac Support (including specific preparation for the brevet and baccalaureate) focused on self-confidence, repetition of exercises and work methods - DAILY supervision and monitoring - Guaranteed results. We also prepare high school students for the baccalaureate or next year thanks to our weeks of intensive courses! Please read the ad carefully before contacting me. I have been a private tutor and coach in science and career guidance for 10 years. I created my own coaching method with my colleagues Thibault and Boris. We provide full-time support to many students, systematically ensuring they improve their average by at least 4 points. We work with 6 specialized teachers to support our students. “In math, you don’t just have to think, you have to practice a lot!” What allows the student to really progress is the repetition of the exercises to have automatisms. The student's problem is not only to understand the course, but to be sufficiently motivated and supervised on a daily basis to effectively integrate the methods, with automatisms and rigorous writing. In addition to private lessons, we offer daily remote monitoring which is based on 3 strengths: 1. Create a work framework and routine: we help the student plan their weekly work and send them the necessary exercises, corrections and course materials. 2. Availability at any time: so that the student never gets stuck, he can contact his teacher to ask for a hint for an exercise or a quick explanation by message. 3. Support and motivation: we help the student see their weekly progress and ensure that their motivation remains high throughout the support. Here is how our students are supported: After an initial discovery call, the student takes an initial course with their tutor to take stock of their situation, identify their state of mind (motivation levers, confidence) and their room for improvement (gaps, methods not mastered, inaccurate writing, careless or calculating errors). Depending on the student's assessment, the tutor recommends a tailor-made formula combining private lessons and daily remote support. Daily support focuses on training in REAL CONDITIONS: alone, without course materials or a teacher and with limited time. The student then sends us their copy, and we provide them with a rigorously written answer key, the corrections for their copy, and their grade the same day. They can then immediately learn from their mistakes and redo the assignment perfectly. The goal is to learn automatically. Through repetition, this method allows the student to: - Never get stuck on a question during a DST again - Improve your time management, by getting used to working in real conditions - To improve the rigor of its writing - To reduce the number of careless mistakes In addition to the training sessions, each coach supports the student through private lessons or telephone coaching sessions, depending on their challenges. Coaching sessions provide time management advice, review work completed, and define future goals. This monitoring allows us to be as close as possible to the student in their revision, being contactable at any time and being very responsive in correcting their copies. This method allows us to guarantee a rapid increase in grades: on average, +4 points on the average in less than 6 months (see the numerous testimonials). The results of this method compared to traditional private lessons are significantly superior. This has enabled many students to move from an average of 11-12 to over 16. You also have real-time access to the student's work schedule and monitoring of their progress (grades, exercises worked on, concepts and methods acquired) so that you can have an overview of the work carried out and your child's progress. Here are the results obtained by our students: - Student in Terminale S at Janson de Sailly: Regained confidence and obtained a grade of 18.5/20 in maths at the baccalaureate. - Final year ES student at Jean-Baptiste Say: Progression of 8 points between the average of the first and third terms. - Final year ES student at Saint Jean de Passy: Progress from 11/20 to 17/20 in 4 months. - Student in Terminale S at La Tour high school, supported for two years: average in the first term: 7.5/20. Grade obtained in the baccalaureate: 18/20 - Student in Terminale S from Passy St Honoré: Progress of 6.5 points in 5 months. - Final year S student: 7 in the first term, 17 in the baccalaureate. We can put you in touch with parents of our former students so you can hear their feedback. We can also send you photos of students' exam papers that achieved excellent grades. You can read what our students think about our support below. Intensive refresher courses - Preparation for competitive exams and competitions - Summer 2025/2026. Refresher courses allow students to confirm their knowledge and reinforce the points necessary to pass the various exams (Brevet des Collèges, Baccalauréat or entrance exams). We are therefore offering, for the end of the school year, intensive revision weeks composed as follows: 1 to 2 hours of lessons per day, with exercises to do alone for the next day's session. Acquisition of exercise resolution methods and review of the different formulas, intensive understanding of the fundamentals of the course. Tutor availability throughout the week if there are any questions about the exercises given so as not to leave the student without a solution, outside of class hours. This method allows all students, whatever their level, to improve calmly and prepare well for end-of-year exams. In addition, the implementation of these revision weeks during the summer allows students who have experienced gaps during the school year to be able to revisit the main difficulties/points not checked, which will be addressed and considered as acquired by their teachers the following year. It is therefore essential and essential in order to feel comfortable and serene for the start of the 2025/2026 school year and allows the tutor and the student to build a privileged and trusting relationship, avoiding rushing on the eve of exams. Generally speaking, the results of these intensive weeks are excellent, both in terms of student morale and their academic results. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions regarding the methodology and/or the various benefits of these sessions!
