Feel free to send me over your questions / material before the class, so we can have a more efficient use of our time. you can find my LinkedIn here https://www.linkedin.com/in/gianroccolazzari/ glad to adjust the topics according to your level I also speak ES/PT

As a former Bachelor's student at EPFL, I am passionate about the exact sciences and pedagogy. With a strong background in mathematics and physics, I help students of all levels (from primary to higher education/university level, including middle and high school) to overcome their difficulties and succeed in their exams. My method is based on clarity, patience and efficiency: understanding theory through practice, quickly identifying blockages and mastering the resolution of typical exam exercises. Available and flexible, I offer personalized and dynamic support to restore students' confidence and teach them good working methods.

I offer tutoring in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, tailored to each student's level and needs. The goal is to review essential concepts and understand problem-solving methods. The sessions are personalized and can cover exam preparation, exercise correction, in-depth exploration of certain concepts, etc. I favor a pedagogical approach using analogies or real-life situations whenever possible, taking the time to explain concepts in different ways until they are fully understood.

I am a Master's student in Electronic Engineering offering Math and Physics lessons. Over the past 7 years, I have tutored about 40 middle and high school students, helping them recover from bad grades and excel in their studies. My strength lies in simplifying complex scientific concepts: rather than asking students to memorize formulas, I guide them to understand the underlying logic. I am very patient and adapt to each student's learning pace to make them fully independent. I believe in building a relationship of trust and empathy, creating a relaxed environment where students never feel anxious about asking questions or making mistakes.

Courses tailored to the student's needs and expectations, in order to create the best conditions for constant improvement and development. The learning method is based on understanding, transparency, and a good balance between theory and practice.

I offer weekly, in-person support, with lessons tailored to each student's level and objectives. The course is entirely dedicated to the student: explanations, exercises, preparation for tests and exams, and review of concepts that pose difficulty. Thanks to my experience at EPFL in Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, I can bring an approach particularly focused on reasoning, problem-solving and good working methods. My method: • Understanding rather than memorizing: we build the reasoning step by step so that the student can truly understand the material. • Train effectively: we work on exercises adapted to the student's level and gradually increase the difficulty. • Gaining autonomy: the goal is for the student to be able to gradually solve exercises on their own and develop good working methods. Lessons can be organized regularly each week, with a frequency adapted to the student's needs. Write to me to discuss your goals and check availability.

Hi! My name is Losel, I'm an IB graduate who scored 7 in both Math AA HL and Physics HL. I've just graduated magna cum laude with a double bachelor in mathematics and physics from École Polytechnique (Paris) and am now doing a master's in Quantum Science and Engineering at EPFL. I offer one-on-one online tutoring, with an iPad and camera setup so we can work through problems together in real time, just like in person. I can help with: Concepts: Going through your lectures and building intuition, clearing up the hard concepts. Exercises and past papers: Understanding the exercises (best way to get a good grade btw), as well as exam strategy and how to solve problems faster. IA and EE: choosing a strong topic, structuring the paper, and refining drafts. University applications: personal statements, choosing programs, mock technical interviews, and how to maximize your chances to get into a top uni. I've been through the IB myself, so I know where it gets tough and how to succeed through it. No two students need the same thing, so we'll set clear goals together and work toward them at your pace. I teach in English, but I also have a C1 in French, so we can mix. I also speak Portuguese and Danish fluently. Message me for a first chat!

As a double-degree student at EPFL after completing my studies at École Polytechnique (l'X) and in scientific preparatory classes in France, I offer private lessons in mathematics, physics and chemistry. My background allows me to provide rigorous support for all secondary school levels (Swiss Matura, Gymnasium) as well as for fundamental science courses at the Bachelor's level. My approach is based on clarifying theoretical concepts, developing effective study methods, and practicing targeted exercises to ensure optimal exam preparation.

As a mathematics student at EPFL, after a scientific preparatory class (PCSI) at Lycée Henri-IV in Paris, I have been giving private math lessons since 2024. For who ? – Secondary I (CO) students who have dropped out or want to consolidate their foundations – High school students, including the specific mathematics and physics option, and preparation for the baccalaureate – First-year students (analysis, linear algebra) at EPFL, UNIL or HES – Students in the French system (middle school, high school, baccalaureate) How is a course going? I start by identifying the real difficulty, because it often stems from a misunderstanding of a previous concept rather than the current chapter. I then explain it simply, and the student practices with exercises until they can do them independently. We can work on upcoming homework and tests, review entire chapters, or prepare intensively for an exam. The goal: improved grades, but above all a student who regains confidence and becomes independent. Courses are also available in English, for students from international schools.

The world of mathematics is abstract and demanding. To navigate it, creating logical connections between the concepts studied becomes essential. From algebraic manipulation to linear algebra, this support aims to help students reconnect with mathematics by giving them the necessary tools to find their own way. In this way, long-term academic success becomes possible. Having graduated with a high school diploma specializing in Mathematics and Physics, receiving an award for excellence as well as an award for advanced mathematics, and currently pursuing further studies in mathematics at EPFL, I will leverage my years of experience in academic support to achieve my goal: to show students that mathematics can be enjoyable when studied effectively. This enjoyment will be the cornerstone of their academic success.

Hello everyone, I'm currently a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at EPFL and I offer tutoring in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. With me, you'll learn to refine your skills or correct any weaknesses while improving your overall knowledge. I focus primarily on practical exercises and their thorough solutions. I look forward to meeting you.

Third-year computer science student offers homework help/refresher courses for science subjects (Mathematics, computer science, biology, physics, chemistry). My approach is to first understand the student's prior knowledge and solidify the foundations before moving on to more complex concepts. I can give homework or not, I adapt to the situation and the needs of each student.

Hi! I’m currently a Master’s student at EPFL with a strong background in Financial Mathematics. I’ve always enjoyed mathematics and love helping others discover that it can actually be fun and satisfying. I’m patient, enthusiastic, and responsible, and I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance. My goal is not only to help you solve problems but also to help you understand the ideas behind them, so you can become an independent and confident learner. Let’s Make Math Simple and Fun!

A serious student in high school, I always felt comfortable in school, particularly in math, French, and English. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and have already helped classmates improve in these subjects. I offer personalized support tailored to each student's needs: reviewing the school curriculum, homework help, test/exam preparation, or simply reinforcing the fundamentals. I adapt my method to each student's pace, with great patience. The goal is for the student to truly understand, not just memorize. Available this summer and flexible with hours. Feel free to contact me to discuss your child's specific needs.
