Somos una Fundación ( entidad sin ánimo de lucro) que desde nuestra escuela de música, con 19 años de experiencia en la enseñanza hemos desarrollado métodos que facilitan el aprendizaje.
nuestros estudiantes al ingresar a nuestra escuela reciben un aula en classroom donde tienen acceso al programa de estudio de su curso y a modificaciones personalizadas cada semana. Somos una escuela online pero con énfasis personalizado al estudiante, no estandarizamos. Nos encontramos en continua formación, por ellos nos perfilamos a la titulación: Experto internacional en música y talento humano de MACCO. Podemos ofrecer nuestras lecciones en Español, Inglés y Portugués.
Nuestra escuela tiene como fundamento el disfrute, es por esto que adoptamos la gamificacion como modelo pedagógico que va muy bien con los estudiantes entre 4-18 años. De la misma manera el motivador para los más adultos es demostrarles que sí es posible tocar sus canciones favoritas, siendo solistas o acompañantes.
Somos una escuela con énfasis ministerial, es decir, que formamos a nuestros estudiantes con perfil de servicio a la comunidad cristiana de sus Iglesias, barrio o ciudad.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student.

My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag.

For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades.

After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercises too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too.

Private Piano lesson, from age 4 and above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the numbers from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G.

Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory.

The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers.

For the ages 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

Are you a beginner?? No worries: no experience is required! 😁
I can teach you the basics to produce sounds with your saxophone: position of the embouchure (teeth, tongue, lips and vocal cords' position, an element often forgotten), fingerings, use of diafragma,...
After the first two lessons spent on the mouthpiece and neck for the sound production, we will immediately start to play some super easy duos together to practice your capacity of listening, pay attention to the other, ear training as well. I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw!

Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc.

Mi nombre es Miriam, soy graduada en Maestría en Música Clásica en KASK & Conservatorium en Gante.
Llevo 10 años dando clases de violonchelo a niños, adolescentes y adultos, por lo que he adquirido la experiencia necesaria para poder adaptarme a las diferentes y personales necesidades y objetivos de cada alumno. Mi metodología de enseñanza se centra en crear un ambiente agradable y relajado (¡lo que no quiere decir poco exigente!) en el que los alumnos se sientan seguros para expresar sus propias ideas e inquietudes. As a musician and piano teacher, I understand these struggles very well. I personally had a hard time with the rigid structure of traditional music schools, and for a the longest time I didn’t know how to practise efficiently. For example: before a concert, nerves often show up as shallow breathing, tension, or racing thoughts. I teach simple breathing exercises that help you calm your nervous system, focus your attention, and return to the music instead of the fear.
