Originally trained as an HVAC engineer with the intention of continuing my father’s legacy, I transitioned into teaching during the pandemic after discovering my passion for language education. This shift allowed me to embrace remote work while connecting with learners globally. With a friendly and adaptable approach, I prioritize creating engaging, personalized lessons that foster confidence in conversational Dutch. Outside of teaching, I take pride in my family life as a happily married professional who finds fulfillment in helping others achieve their language goals.

I have opened a new class, and I would like to introduce it to you. Let's learn Japanese together while having fun! My name is Natsue. I have been teaching Japanese for over 20 years. I have opened a new course and I would like to introduce it to you. 1st Course – Japanese for Children In this Japanese course for children, students can enjoy learning the language through videos and various fun materials. The purpose of this course is to help children who love anime, Japanese culture, or Japanese food, as well as children who struggle with reading and writing, have difficulty speaking, or face learning challenges. Through Japanese, they can discover the joy of learning and gradually overcome their weaknesses. The course is also useful for families who plan to travel to Japan for work or sightseeing. First lesson – Japanese for children In this Japanese course for children, students can learn the language while having fun through videos and various playful materials. The aim of this course is to help children who love anime, Japanese culture or Japanese food, as well as those who have reading and writing difficulties, lack fluency in speaking or who encounter learning challenges. Through learning Japanese, they can discover the joy of learning and gradually overcome their difficulties. This course is also useful for families planning to travel to Japan for work or tourism. 2nd Course – Japanese for Students, Travelers, and Manga Fans This course is designed for students, people preparing to study abroad in Japan, travelers, and manga lovers. We start with the basics and can move on to more advanced content depending on each learner's ability. You will learn essential phrases, conversation skills, and grammar needed for daily life in Japan. Lessons are enjoyable and tailored carefully to each individual's level and learning style. I have a variety of learning materials, and we use the ones that best suit each child. 2nd lesson – Japanese for students, travelers and manga enthusiasts This course is aimed at students, people preparing to study in Japan, travelers, and manga enthusiasts. We start with the basics and can progress to more advanced content depending on each learner's abilities. You will learn essential phrases, conversation skills and grammar necessary for everyday life in Japan. The lessons are enjoyable and carefully tailored to each individual's level and learning style. I have a wide variety of teaching materials and I use those that are best suited to each student. The third course is a JLPT preparation course. It covers all levels from JLPT N5 to N1All levels and is designed to help students pass the exam. In addition to test preparation, there is also a conversation‐focused course where students learn JLPT grammar while practicing speaking. If you have texts or content that you would like to explore, we will use them in class. Whether it's to boost your chances for studies, a job or simply to challenge yourself, my courses will guide you with targeted exercises and strategies adapted to your level. In the first lesson, we will discuss in Japanese/French/English to assess your level of Japanese, your expectations for the Japanese course, as well as the books we will use. Each one-hour lesson takes place online or at my home in Prilly. Organize your classes at your own pace: once a week, every two weeks, or even in intensive sessions lasting several hours!
