Hi! I'm Leo, a foreign language teacher (Italian and Japanese). I discovered Italian through art and loved it so much that I decided to study Italian as a foreign language. If you're looking for a flexible and supportive environment to improve your language skills, you've come to the right place! In my classes, you'll learn at your own pace, according to your needs and the goals we set together. My approach prioritizes your needs! To help you understand and express your ideas, we'll work on all your skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. We'll have extended conversations and use materials (videos, texts, exercises, etc.) that will help you learn grammar and enrich your vocabulary. In addition to practicing the language, you'll deepen your knowledge of Italian culture and civilization. A truly comprehensive learning experience! If your goal is to prepare for a certification, we can customize the program according to your structure. Although the classes will be taught mainly in Italian, if necessary, I can use Catalan, Spanish, English or Japanese to provide even more support. Levels A1-C1 (CELI Impact - CELI 4). The classes are NOT designed for specific purposes (business, economics, law, etc.).

By covering various topics, I'll teach you ready-made sentences to best express your thoughts, which you can use without getting lost in a speech using a thousand meaningless words. I'll especially teach you the Italian mentality, customs, culture, tradition, and the appropriate language for each of them.

Human contact is an indispensable condition for learning a language. For this reason, I always try to prioritize the conversation during my classes, but not before having established the necessary grammar bases to be able to carry out good oral communication. I use memorization techniques adapted to the natural predisposition to learning (visual, auditory or kinesthetic) of each student and combined with the principle of repetition by spaces (SRS) that ensures, according to neuroscientific studies, effective long-term memorization. My first classes always start with an explanation of the teaching techniques I use and a test that allows me to understand the natural (and then optimal) way of memorizing the student.

As an Italian Opera singer, I help since many years singers with the right pronunciation of the repertoire they sing, helping them in shaping the language in a clear way, which also helps the singing. Our lesson will involve speaking, pronunciation exercises and singing. We will start the lesson by reading the text and finding the right direction and emphasis. We will focus on the sounds and how to produce them. In the second part of the lesson, we will apply all of the above to the singing!

If you answer yes to one or more of these questions: ○ Do you want to learn the basics of Italian, one of the most beautiful languages in the world? ○ Would you like to converse in Italian with a native speaker, improve your oral communication and pronunciation, and learn new commonly used expressions? ○ Are you fascinated by the culture, art, gastronomy or even the history of Italy? ○ Or do you mainly need to revise Italian grammar, improve your written communication or practice conjugation? So good news, look no further: you've come to the right place! Dante's language will no longer hold any secrets for you thanks to clear, dynamic and entertaining lessons, adapted to your pace and your personal needs. - Small games will also be organized: don't they say that it's by having fun that we learn best? - In addition, classes will be taught primarily in Italian from day one. For me, immersion is the most direct method of learning. However, I will use French, English, or German to clarify any doubts, especially for beginners. - Having learned many languages myself, I understand the challenges you face and can share with you the techniques that helped me overcome them. - At the end of each course, you will receive a personalized document containing all my notes and observations to facilitate revision and your learning. If you are motivated, I can: - plan homework to help you progress more quickly. - share authentic material with you in the form of articles, videos, films or podcasts to present and comment on with me during the course. An expert in Italian culture and literature thanks to my university studies and multilingualism, I offer courses that will help you progress quickly thanks to an effective method. My classes are structured to allow you to practice conversation (practice Italian through everyday situations), work on grammar in a targeted manner and enrich your vocabulary through the analysis of written or oral documents together. No, you don't see the unexpected news, here you go! I look forward to meeting you, see you soon!
