Back in Bangladesh, I worked as an SAT instructor at Mentors' and developed the SAT teaching curriculum at Noetic. Here’s the class breakdown: English Classes Words in Context Text Structure and Purpose Cross-Text Connections Central Ideas and Details Command of Evidence (Textual, Quantitative) Inferences Boundaries Form, Structure, and Sense Rhetorical Synthesis Transitions Math Classes Algebra: 3 sessions Advanced Math: 3 sessions Problem Solving and Data Analysis: 3 sessions Geometry and Trigonometry: 2 sessions Don’t worry; the number of classes is flexible. If you’re already confident in certain topics, we’ll skip them and focus on what needs improvement. This isn’t a cookie-cutter course—it’s all about what works best for you. Logistics Duration: Each class is 1.5 hours. Preferred Schedule: After 6 PM (but we can discuss). Class Options: Online (Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams) or in-person (either at Aalto University, my place, or yours (applicable for Espoo and Helsinki)). Why Choose Me? Lila knows how to asses which level my child is at accurately, and help her from very silence at the beginning to be very devoted to the doalogue at the end. Tafhimul is a great SAT prep teacher, the approach and teaching methods are customized for the level of the student. The preparations include best practices for taking the SAT, as well as walking through the math theory needed to take the exam.
