After many years of experience, teaching has become an ongoing passion and I developed a powerful and fun approach of teaching for beginners and advanced students. Singing lessons - Discover your own voice as I support you developing your personal sound and the technique needed. We will be doing vocal warm ups, improvisation and sing the songs of your preference. Violin lessons - Noticing that a lot of violin players are unable to play music without scores I tend to work using more the ears instead of scores. Besides learning songs and improvisation in the musical genre that the student prefers, I also emphasize on technique and posture. Every person is unique and needs a particular and personal approach!

Every child can learn to play the viola, if the environment offers loving and stimulating support. Lieselotte welcomes your children from the age of 3. Step by step, they will learn to play the viola in a playful way according to the principles of the Suzuki method. The individual and group lessons also have a positive influence on the child's growing skills such as concentration, self-confidence, appreciation and the social aspect. In addition to viola lessons, concerts, workshops and music camps are regularly organized. The method emphasizes the experience of music at a young age. Music is taught in a similar way as a child learns his native language - by listening to the parents and imitating them. If the parents still actively participate in the learning process, learning an instrument becomes a particularly pleasant and challenging experience for each child. "Music is the language of the heart without words." S. Suzuki

I am an experienced teacher. I studied in Japan, Germany, France and Belgium. I have 2 masters in Violin and Viola play - concert level. I will make you learn the fundamental knowledge and know how, and make you experience a valuable and joyful moment in the same time. My teaching skill is totally flexible, depending on what is needed by the student (professionnal assistance, child's introduction to the world of violin/viola, etc.). I value the basics so I use Japanese music text book most of the time. Many students are able to play a piece after 2,3 months. You can learn music theory and instrument practice of violin, viola and basic skills of piano. I really enjoy teaching. It makes me happy to see when my students are thrilled with music. Do not hesitate to contact me for getting more details.

My name is Daniela, and I am a cross-over violist from Costa Rica. I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 to pursue my studies at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Classical Music (Viola). I am currently continuing my journey at Codarts with a Master's degree in Latin Music. During my time in the Netherlands, I have been part of a wide range of musical projects across different genres — from classical orchestras and chamber music to pop, jazz, and world music collaborations. I've performed with ensembles such as the Jong Metropole and recorded with various pop, jazz, and fusion bands. I am also the bandleader of my own Latin project, La Reunión, and work as a freelance musician with diverse musical groups. Before moving to the Netherlands, I studied Music Education at the University of Costa Rica and worked for several years as a private teacher. I have experience teaching violin and viola to both children and adults. As a teacher, I am kind and patient. I believe in the value of consistent, focused work and in helping students grow step by step. I aim to make the learning process feel easy and fun!
